XAT 2023 – Xavier School of Management (XLRI) conducts XAT every year for students to get enrolled in various management programs offered by top b-schools of India such as XLRI, LIBA, IMS Business School, etc. This MBA entrance exam is almost a year away from now. XAT 2023

XAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of XAT was changed the previous year. XAT 2023 is expected to have the same pattern as XAT 2022. You can go through the exam pattern of XAT below.

  • Mode of Exam – Online (Computer based exam)
  • Duration of exam – 3 Hours
  • Type of questions – Multiple Choice Questions
  • Sections – There will be 5 sections in total (Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, and Essay)
  • Number of Questions – 101
  • Marking Scheme – 01 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
    • 0.25 mark will de deducted for every wrong answer.
    • Negative marking is not applicable in the General Knowledge section.
    • After 8 unanswered questions, 0.10 mark will be deducted

XAT 2023 Cut Off

The Cut-off of XAT depends on many factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, and availability of seats. After a few days of the announcement of the result, XLRI releases the cut-off on its official website. Those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are then shortlisted and called for a personal interview or group discussion round. XAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

You can check the eligibility criteria of XAT 2023 according to previous years here.

  • Candidate should have a recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum three years of duration or its equivalent in any stream.
  • For XAT 2022, candidates in their final year of graduation were only eligible if they completed their final examination by June 10, 2022. This criteria for XAT 2023 has not released yet.
  • Indian candidates wanting to get into XLRI must appear for XAT 2023.
    • NRI and Foreign candidates may also apply through their valid GMAT scores.

XAT 2023 Application Form

The registration process for XAT 2023 is expected to begin in August 2023. Candidates will have to fill out the application form online, through the official website of XLRI. Any information regarding the XAT 2023 will be released through the official website of XLRI only.

In order to register themselves for XAT 2023, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee. The registration fee for XAT according to the previous year is as follows.

How to Apply for XAT 2023

The registration process of XAT 2023 will most probably start in August 2022. To apply for XAT 2023, candidates will have to go to the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in. The step-by-step process to apply for XAT 2023 is given below.

1st Step – Go to the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in and go to the registration portal.

2nd Step – Enter all the asked details such as your name, mobile number, email address, state, and create a password. After this, click on the ‘Register‘ button at the bottom of the registration window.

3rd Step – After registering, a verification email would be sent to your email address. Click on the verification link to verify your email address.

4th Step – After this, you will be redirected to XAT 2023 Dashboard. There, in the content table, click on ‘Apply now‘ in front of XAT Application Form 2023.

5th Step – Enter all the details asked, such as your Date of Birth, Gender, Blood Group, Nationality, etc. After filling up all the details, click on the ‘Next‘ button.

6th Step – On the next page, enter all the details asked about your parents. After that, click on the ‘Next‘ button.

7th Step – Next, enter your address details and click on the ‘Next‘ button.

8th Step – Now, enter your academic i.e. 10th and 12th standard details. Then click on ‘Next‘.

9th Step – On the next page, Enter your Work Experience & Education Details, and click on ‘Next‘.

10th Step – Now, select the Program provided by XLRI that you want to pursue. Also, select your preferred city from the drop-down menu.

11th Step – After this, upload your signature, photograph, and ID proof. The image specification for the documents to be uploaded is given in the table below.

12th Step – On the next page, read the Declaration carefully and preview your application, then click on the ‘Continue‘ button.

13th Step – At last, pay the application fee by clicking on ‘Make Payment‘. Now download the receipt generated for future reference.

XAT 2023 Admit Card

Candidates can download their admit card for XAT 2023 through the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline.in You’ll have to put in your unique XAT id and date of birth in order to download your admit card. Admit card is an extremely important document that carries all the information about the exam such as the exam date, reporting time, duration of the exam, address of the exam center, etc.

Carrying your admit card to the exam center on the day of the examination is very, very important. It acts as your ticket which ensures your entry to the examination hall. Therefore, you must very carefully take it to the examination hall to avoid any problem.

XAT 2023 Question Paper

XAT 2023 will take place in online mode. The question paper will be divided into five sections; Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, and Essay. There will be 101 MCQ-type questions in total in the question paper. There will be no sectional time limit for candidates and they will be free to switch between different sections of the question paper without any limitation.

XAT 2023 Result

XLRI releases the result of XAT in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check their scorecards on the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline. by logging in with their log-in details i.e. their XAT id and date of birth. Once the result is announced, the shortlisting of students of the GD/PI round starts taking place. After the GD/PI round is conducted, a final list of selected candidates is made, and the final merit list is published.

XAT 2023 Answer Key

XLRI will release the provisional answer key to XAT 2022 question paper within a few days after the exam. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website of XAT i.e. xatonline. and match their answers with it. Candidates can calculate their marks by adding up the number of correct questions, and subtracting the number of questions attempted wrongly multiplied by 0.25 from it. Candidates can also raise objections against the XAT 2023 provisional answer key if they believe that any answer in it is wrong.
