XAT 2022 Result – XLRI has released the revised XAT results on the official website i.e. xatonline.in. Candidates can click on the link on the link given below to access their revised scorecard. The reason behind releasing a revised scorecard is that one question in Quants sections is found to have 2 correct options, so XLRI has decided to award the marks for the candidates who have selected either of the options.
To check the revised XAT scorecard candidates need to log into the official website using the XAT ID and date of birth. XLRI had already released the final answer key and response sheet of XAT 2022 on January 04, 2022. The XAT scorecard will have details like name, XAT id, date of birth, test date, sectional and overall percentile etc. The candidates can refer to this page for all XAT result related information such as how to check XAT results, details available in the XAT scorecard, XAT result release date, how is XAT result is calculated etc.

On Jan 24, 2022, various candidates received a mail from exam authorities mentioning the following message.
The question (QID 6302611389) of the Quantitative Aptitude section is found to have 2 correct options. When the answer key was released only the option “Boxes 7-16 contain a total of 133 defective boxes” was correct, but now one more option “Boxes no. 11-16 contain a total of 101 defective pencils” is found to be correct. So XLRI has decided to award the marks to the candidates who have selected the second option. Candidates can check their revised scorecard as their QA marks, percentile and overall percentile would have been increased.

How to Check XAT 2022 Result?
The XAT 2022 result can be checked via online mode only. In order to check your scorecard, a XAT id is needed, which was created during XAT 2022 registration. No hard copy of the scorecard is sent to the candidates. Check the steps given below to download the scorecard.
1st step: First of all, click on the direct link of the result given above or visit the official website i.e. xatonline.in.
2nd step: Then click on the ‘XAT scorecard’ mentioned on the homepage as shown in the image.
3rd step: Now, the candidate’s login window will open. Here, enter the xat id and date of birth.
4th step: After entering the details, click on the “login” button.
5th step: The candidate’s dashboard will open. Here, click on the scorecard button and download it.
6th step: Lastly, take the printout of the scorecard for future reference.

How is XAT 2022 Score Calculated?
The score is calculated according to the marks obtained in XAT 2022. The marks are calculated as per the following marking scheme:
- 01 marks are awarded for each correct answer
- 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer
- 0 marks for the un-attempted questions
- There is no negative marking in GK section
- Consecutively unanswered 8 questions will lead to -0.10 marks
Percentage and Percentile calculation: The overall XAT 2022 percentile and the percentage is calculated as per the performance in 3 sections namely Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Verbal & Logical Ability, and Decision Making. GK marks will not be considered for the overall percentage and percentile calculation.
GK percentage and percentile will be calculated separately and will not be included in the total percentile.
Validity of scorecard: XAT scorecard remains valid for 1 year from the date of declaration of the result.

What After Declaration of XAT 2022 Result?
After the declaration of the result, the cut-off will be released by XLRI Jamshedpur. The cut-off for the other participating institutes can be checked by visiting the official website of those institutes. The shortlisted candidates are further called for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview. The selection process differs for each institute.
Last year, XLRI conducted a personal interview for BM, HRM, Ex-PGDM, and FPM programmes. After the conduct of all the rounds, XLRI publishes a final merit list.
