This entrance exam leads to admission in M. Sc. Nursing (MScN) courses in Colleges / Institutes in the State of West Bengal. The exam shall have 100 Multiple – Choice Question (MCQ) type questions. The time for the paper is 90 minutes (2:00 PM to 3:30 PM). WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Application Form
The procedure for submission of the WBJEE MSc nursing 2021application form and payment of examination fees is totally online. The details have been shared below:
Registration: The candidate will enter personal details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number, email ID etc.
Application: At this stage, the candidate needs to fill up various other information such as domicile, category, PwD status, religion, nationality, academic details, etc.
Uploading of images: The candidate is required to upload JPG / JPEG images of:
- their recent colour photograph (10 to 200 kB)
- Signature (4 to 30 kB).
- If any document e.g., certificate / marksheet etc. in PDF format (50 to 300 kB)
Payment of Examination Fees: Application fees is Rs. 3000, payable by Net Banking / Debit Card/ Credit Card.
Confirmation Page: On successful completion of all the above steps, candidates shall be directed to download the ‘Confirmation Page’ which means that the application is complete.
WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Eligibility
To appear for JEMScN there is only one criteria which is:
Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India.
But for admission in the M.Sc course the below given criteria shall be applicable:
Upper age limit (as on 31.12.2021):
- No upper age limit for candidates who are presently employed in private institutes.
- For candidates presently employed in Govt. institutes, the upper age limit is 53 years unless special permission is obtained from the DHS / JS(N)/ Secretary (Nursing) / Higher Authorities.
- Candidate must pass 4 years’ B. Sc. – Nursing / B. Sc. (Hons.) – Nursing. OR
- 2 years’ Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons)- Nursing. OR
- 3 years’ B. Sc. Degree-Nursing, if done through distant education.
The candidate must pass from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and affiliated with any recognized university. Candidates who passed through distance education from an Institute which is not recognized by INC are not eligible.
- Candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate considering all four years together in the above examinations.
Working experience for Government employees:
Govt. employees must have minimum 3 years’ working experience after the publication of the result of the qualifying examinations (which is taken as the date of the final mark sheet) and by 30.09.21.
Working experience for Private employees:
- Candidates who have passed B. Sc. – Nursing / B. Sc. (Hons.) – Nursing or Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Hons)- Nursing must have a minimum of one year’s working experience after the date of passing the above courses (which is taken as the date of the final mark sheet) and by 30.09.21.
- Candidates passed through distance education must have a minimum of two years of working experience after the date of passing the above.
Note that while allotting seats, reservation criteria shall be applicable. Only the WB state candidates shall be eligible to claim reserved seats. The requirements for WB State Domicile is a relevant category certificate issued by the Appropriate Authority of the Govt. of W.B. at the time of counselling and admission.

The exam pattern of JEMScN is given below:
Mode of exam: The exam will be pen and paper based – OMR sheets will be given to mark the answers.
Total number of questions: The paper will contain 100 questions.
Type of questions: All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options.
Total time: Time for the paper is 90 minutes.
Languages: The questions will be in English language only.

How to Prepare for WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN)
The preparation for this entrance exam must have the following steps:
Make a routine: A routine shall help the candidates divide their time between all the subjects. Candidates have to cover the whole syllabus in time. Hence with a topic candidates can cover maximum topics effectively.
Collect good books: Refer to all the textbooks that you have studied in your UG. The syllabus is based on the B.Sc. / PB B.Sc. Nursing syllabus. WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Application Form Correction

WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Admit Card
WBJEE M.Sc Nursing 2021 admit card is generated on the notified date. The students have to download and take a print of it. Candidates must carry a printed hard copy of the admit card to the examination center.
Candidates must ensure that the admit card is not mutilated / distorted / soiled even by accident. As without the admit card candidates are not allowed in the exam centre.
Duplicate admit card: If a candidate needs a duplicate admit card after the examination, the same can be provided by the Board, but only till 60 days after the date of declaration of result. In order to get a duplicate, the candidate must apply to the Board and pay a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
With the admit card, candidates have to carry the following on the exam day:
- A copy of colour photograph that was uploaded during online application.
- Any photo identity card in original such as Aadhaar card/ Pan card / Passport/ 10th standard admit card/ School – ID card/ Voter ID/ Ration Card with Photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph/ Any other Valid Govt. Identity card with Photograph.
WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Result
WBJEEB does not publish any rank / score list. However, it will publish the WBJEE M.Sc nursing result 2021 as scorecard / rank card. The rank card has the all relevant ranks and total scores. Candidates can view and download their rank cards by logging in with their password.
Ranks cards with scores are be issued to all candidates, who appear in the examination. But all may not be awarded a rank and hence may not be eligible for counselling. A cutoff rank / and / or a cutoff score will be decided by the board. The candidates who shall pass the required cutoff, shall be given rank and shall be eligible for counselling.
Duplicate rank card: If a candidate needs a duplicate rank card even after completion of counselling and admission conducted by the Board, the same can be provided, but only within 60 days of declaration of result. In order to get a duplicate rank card, the candidate must apply to the Board and pay a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
WBJEE MSc Nursing 2021 (JEMScN) Rank List
Note: WBJEEB will prepare merit ranks based on the candidates’ scores in the entrance tests. Individual candidates will be able to view and download his/her Rank Card, which will contain score and rank. WBJEEB does not publish any ranks/score list for public.
The rank shall be in the name and style of ‘GMR’ (General Merit Rank). Ranking shall be done in the descending order of marks scored in the entrance test. However, there may be ties and the tie-breaking rule.
Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for the respective categories of students: They are given below. Counselling / allotment of seat / admission is done based on GMR only (not on category ranks). Category ranks are only for information to candidates.

Tie breaking for ranking shall be as per the order below:
- Higher marks in part b.
- Less negative marks in total.
- Less negative marks in part b.

- If a tie exists still thereafter, same will be broken by the date of birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.
