VITEEE 2021 Exam Date
VIT has announced the VITEEE 2021 exam date. The VIT Engineering Entrance Exam will be held in 2nd to 3rd week of April 2021. Thus the exact exam dates are going to be between 08 to 20 April 2021. The announcement on exam dates and other important dates of VITEEE exam was made on 30 November 2020 at viteee.vit.ac.in. On the same day, VIT released the application form; interested and eligible candidates can register and apply by the last date of VITEEE 2021 application form.

Exact Exam Dates of VITEEE 2021 Exam
As you may have noticed, VIT University has announced the week for VITEEE 2021 exam date. As per the dates published on 30 November 2020, the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam will be held in 2nd to 3rd week of April 2021.
Soon however, VIT is expected to announce the exact exam dates.
What are the exact expected VITEEE 2021 exam dates?
As per the official announcement, the exam dates will be in 2nd and 3rd week of April 2021. The corresponding dates are as follows
- 2nd week of April – 08 to 14 April 2021.
- 3rd week of April – 15 to 20 Apr 2021.
– Hence, VITEEE 2021 is expected to held between 8 to 20 April 2021 –
In the previous years, exam date for VITEEE exam have been as follows:

Another interesting observation is that VIT holds exams over 12 dates (see past year dates above!). This is consistent with assumption of having exam dates from 08 to 20 April 2021.
Note: Last year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic VITEEE got cancelled. The admission was granted on the basis of 10+2 / Pre-University marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology. The candidates with JEE Main scores were also given weightage. Hence, there is no exam date for last year.

Will VIT Extend Last Date to Apply for VITEEE 2021 and How That Affects the Exam Date?
For past few years, VIT has been extending the last date to apply for VITEEE. Last year, the deadline to apply extended multiple times. However, it was due to COVID pandemic and uncertainty due to it.
- Even in 2019 – last date to apply for VITEEE was extended from 28 February to 21 March (by 21 days).
- In the year 2018 – last date to apply for VITEEE was extended from 15 March to 18 March (by 3 days only).
So, VIT does extended the deadline to apply. However, this time the end date is the last date of March. If the exam is held on schedule, then the possibility of extending the last to apply to April is a little less. So, VIT may or may not extend the dates this time.
If last date to apply for VITEEE is extended, then there too the possibility of delaying the exam date is rare. VIT usually doesn’t delay the exam. It is usually, the first institute to close B.Tech admission.
