UKSEE 2021
Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) conducts Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE). It is a state level exam, which is held for admission of eligible candidates in UG, PG, Lateral Entry courses. UKSEE 2021 shall be held for 9 papers. It is an offline exam, for which application form is expected to release in April 2021. The test is itself is likely to be in May. UKSEE is held for B. Pharm, BHMCT, MCA, M. Pharm, B. Tech Lateral Entry, M.Tech, MBA, B. Pharm. Lateral Entry, and MCA Lateral Entry. B.Tech admission in the state is done on the basis of JEE Main exam. Check all the important dates for UKSEE 2021 from below.

UKSEE 2021 Exam Date
It is expected that UKSEE 2021 will be held in the 2nd or 3rd week of May 2021.
Last year, UKSEE did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, the admission was granted on the basis of the marks of the national level examination rank and / or qualifying exam marks.
However, it was an exception year where pandemic cause a lot of hindrance. However, under the normal circumstances, the exam is held in the month of May. Check previous year UKSEE exam dates to confirm.

Important information: Just appearance in UKSEE 2021 does not confer any rights to secure seats in the state quota seats. The admission and selection in the course offered via UKSEE is done according to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria, state reservation policy etc.
UKSEE 2021 Application Form
Application form for Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) releases via online mode only. All the candidates willing to appear in UKSEE 2021 must cross-check their eligibility conditions first before filling the application form.
Important Points about UKSEE 2021 Application Form
- Make sure that the application form is complete in all respects. The incomplete forms get rejected by the official authority.
- The candidates are required to submit separate application forms for different courses.
- The printout of the submitted UKSEE 2021 application form should not be sent to UKTU.
- Keep 2-3 printouts of the application form for your reference.
- No editing of details entered in the form will be allowed after its submission, so fill the particulars carefully in the form.
- Provide your complete and detailed mailing address, id proof details in the form. Also, correct and valid mobile number and email id in the application form.
- Enter the category in the application form carefully as it cannot be changed later on.
- Make sure the details provided in the application form are correct. False information provided in the form will lead to rejection even though the result for UKSEE 2021 has been announced.

UKSEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the application form of UKSEE, the candidates are required to meet the eligibility requirements by the university. Check the course wise eligibility criteria given below.
Domicile Requirements
- Those who have passed / are appearing in the qualifying exam from other states but are domcile of Uttarakhand can apply under Uttarakhand quota.
- Those who have passed qualifying exam from Uttarakhand Technical Board / Universities can apply for lateral entry courses. However, these candidates will not be considered for reservation.

The candidates belonging to B.Sc stream must clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mathematics apart from the second year subjects.
Note:
1. The students with B.Sc degree shall be considered for admission after filling supernumerary seats in this category with the students belonging to the Diploma stream. Also, the students who have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology or B.Sc degree shall be eligible for admission into first-year Engineering degree courses (as per the seats available).
2. For the admission into B.Tech Lateral Entry into 2nd year, the first preference shall be given to Diploma holders and then to B.Sc holders.

Some Important Points
- For MBA course, the first preference will be given to students who have qualified CAT / MAT. If the seats remain vacant, then the qualified candidates of UKSEE 2021 will be allotted seats.
- For M.Pharm course, the first preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates. If the seats remain vacant, then it will be given to UKSEE 2021 qualified students.
- In case of M.Tech course, during counselling, the seat will be first allotted to GATE qualified candidates. If the seats remain vacant then it will be allotted to UKSEE 2021 qualified candidates.
Note: The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply for UKSEE 2021. However, the admission of such candidates shall not be done if the result of the qualifying examination is still not announced at the time of UKSEE 2021 counselling.
UKSEE 2021 Admit Card

- Admit card for UKSEE releases online at the official website of UKTU, uktech.ac.in.
- To download UKSEE 2021, the candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth in the login window.
- UKSEE admit card is released only through the online mode. It is not sent via post.
- Even after the entrance exam is over, the candidates must preserve the admit card until the end of the admission process.
- It is mandatory to carry the printed copy of UKSEE 2021 admit card to the exam centre. Without it, entry is not given inside the exam centre.
- Along with the admit card, the candidates are required to carry a valid id proof as well.

Exam Day Guidelines
The candidates appearing for UKSEE 2021 must follow the instructions given below.
- The candidates must reach their exam centre one hour before the commencement of the test. No candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall 15 minutes after the starting of the exam, so manage the time accordingly.
- Until the exam is over, no candidate is allowed to leave the test centre.
- Use of items like mobile phones or any electronic devices is strictly prohibited inside the exam centre.
- The staff present at the university is authorized to verify the identity of the candidates. So, it is possible that they might take steps to verify and record the identity of the candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to cooperate with the authorities.
- The photographs / signature / thumb impression of the candidates shall be taken twice at the exam centre, once in the presence of the invigilator and then, in the presence of Principal / admission committee of the institute.
- If any candidate is found to be using any unfair means in the examination, their result will be cancelled and punishment shall be given to such candidates by the examination committee of the university according to the provisions of law.
UKSEE 2021 Result
Given below are some significant points related to UKSEE 2021 result.
- The candidates can check UKSEE 2021 result online at uktech.ac.in.
- The result declared by the Admission Committee is final. This means, there is no provision of re-checking or revaluation of answer scripts.
- The scorecards are released on the official website at candidate’s login.
- According to the performance of the candidates in UKSEE, merit lists are also published.
- The merit lists are published separately for each course.
If in case two or more candidates obtain the same marks in UKSEE 2021, then the following tie breaking policy is followed:
- First of all, the candidate with less number of incorrect answers are placed higher
- If the tie still exists, the candidate older in age is placed higher
- If there is still a tie, then the marks of the qualifying examinations are considered
UKSEE 2021 Counselling
The candidates whose names appear in UKSEE merit list are required to participate in Counselling. The counselling is held in the online mode. According to the availability of seats, UKSEE counselling takes place. UKSEE counselling process consists of :
- Registration and payment of processing fee
- Choice filling
- Seat Allotment
- Reporting at the college
UKTU Seat Reservation Criteria

Government Funded Institutes: For govt. funded institutes, the reservations of candidates belonging to Uttarakhand shall be as per Uttarakhand govt. rules. Whereas for All India seats, the rules shall be applicable as per government rules.
For courses conducted by Govt. Engineering Colleges / Institutes / University Departments: Here, the seats shall be offered accordong to UKSEE 2021. The seats shall be resreved as per Uttarakhand govt. rules.
For self- financing institutes: The reservation in these institutes shall be as per norms and conditions applicable during the counselling process.
