TS DEECET Syllabus 2021
Candidates appearing in TS DEECET 2021 must prepare as per the syllabus of the exam. The TS DEECET 2021 syllabus is prescribed by the Department of School Education (DSE), Government of Telangana. The exam is divided into 3 parts, General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude, Language, and Mathematics / Physical Sciences / Biological Sciences / Social Studies. Part 1:
- General Knowledge and teaching aptitude
Part 2:
- General English
- General Telugu / General Urdu (as opted by candidate)
Part 3:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- Biological Sciences
- Social Studies
For part 3, the candidates have to follow the syllabus of class 10 standard.
TS DEECET Exam Pattern 2021
The exam pattern of TS DEECET 2021 is discussed below:
- Parts in the paper: The paper of TS DEECET 2021 has 3 parts.
- Language of the paper: The paper is held in 3 languages – Urdu, English and Telugu
- Mode of examination: The exam is held in Online mode (Computer Based Test)
- Duration of Examination: The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes
- Type of Questions: The type of questions in the exam is Multiple Choice Questions
- Total Questions: In the exam the candidates have to face 100 MCQs
- Maximum marks: The total marks in the exam is 100
- Marking scheme: +1 marks is awarded for correct answer
- Negative marking: There is no negative marking for wrong answers

Preparation Tips for TS DEECET 2021
Candidates must plan an exam strategy before starting to prepare for the examination. Knowing the complete syllabus and exam pattern is a crucial part of preparation. Additionally here are some tips to help you prepare:
- Time management is very important for completing the exam attempting all the question time.
- Practice sample papers, online mock tests for scoring well and preparing well for the examination.
- Work on networking skills and make note of the same.
- Start early- make notes of the subject you prepare. Start with the difficult and then followed by easy among the lot. It should be completely on your comfort basis
- Last but not least, taking care of your health in between the exam preparation is important too.
TS DEECET 2021
TS DEECET is held for admission into 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) and DPSE (Diploma in Pre-School Education). Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (TS DEECET) is a state-level exam conducted for admission to the courses. The score secured is used by Govt DIETs / private un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions in the State. Aspirants must be 10+2 passed to be eligible for the examination.
