How To Prepare for TISSNET 2021
For the English proficiency section, you must have the skill to read quickly and comprehending passages effectively. Last year, in this section, 10 out of the 30 questions were on reading comprehension. To better the reading section the candidates have to read as much as possible. The candidates can read the articles in the newspapers like the editorials. Or the candidates can also read the passages from the previous year’s TISSNET question paper or other MBA entrance exam question papers.
Coming to the Mathematical Skills and Logical Reasoning section, this section is all about practice. For this section, the candidates must ensure that they have a stronghold of the basic maths of at least class 10 level. To ace this section, the candidates have to solve as many questions as possible and also build up a good pace with speed and accuracy.
Next, talking about the General Awareness section, you have to give proper attention to this section. This section carries the most weightage in TISSNET. 40% of the marks are carried by this section, and this is the only section with sectional cutoff marks. For this section, you must follow the daily newspapers like TOI, Hindu, Indian Express. Along with it, the candidates have to catch up with the general awareness topics like:

TISSNET 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of TISSNET 2021 is as follows:
- Mode of exam: TISSNET 2021 is a computer-based test.
- Duration: The exam is of a total 100 minutes duration.
- Number of questions: There are 100 MCQs in the exam.
- Marking scheme: +1 for each correct answer and there is no negative marking

TISSNET
Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts the Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test. It is a national level examination. All the interested and eligible candidates are required to register for appearing to TISSNET 2021 and then they can download their admit card to appear for the test as per the given schedule. The language of the paper will be English. TISSNET 2021 is a Computer Based Test. There are a total of 3 sections in TISSNET 2021. After the TISSNET 2021 examination TISS releases a merit list with the names of all the selected candidates. All the qualified candidates are required to complete the admission process and appear for the seat allotment round.
