TISSNET Eligibility Criteria 2021
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has finally released the application form for TISSNET 2021. With it, the varsity has also published the TISSNET 2021 eligibility criteria. To be specific, TISS has published the eligibility criteria to take admission in MA programs in the institute.
Candidates who are eyeing for a seat in TISS, should first of all check that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. And then they should fill up the application form.
Minimum Educational Qualification
When you see the course wise eligibility conditions below, you will see that TISS specifies “Minimum Educational Qualification” as the only criteria for some courses. The points that come under this criteria i.e. minimum educational qualification, is elaborated here.
Degree: Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree of minimum of 3 or 4 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.
Degree Completion: Those completing final year (including exams plus internships) by September 2021* are also eligible.

The above criteria is the only condition for most programs for TISS NET 2021. The programs that have additional conditions are: MA ODCL, MA Health Administration, MA Hospital Administration, MA Health Policy, MA Economics and Finance, MA Social Epidemiology, B.Ed-M.Ed (Integrated, Three-Years), M.A./M.Sc. (Urban Policy and Governance), Master of Arts in Applied Psychology (Clinical and Counseling Practice), Master of Law (Access To Justice).

Major Highlights of TISSNET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have at least a graduation degree from a recognized institution.
- All aspects of the degree including exam and internship should be over by 15th June 2021 (or as per the timeline assigned by TISS).
- Course specific eligibility criteria, some that require minimum percentage, specific degrees, work experience are also made available.
