Tamilnadu NEET 2021 Eligibility for Counselling
Here are the eligibility requirements to participate in NEET Counselling for the OJEE portal:
- Only Indian citizens, OCIs, NRIs, and PIOs are eligible to apply for Tamilnadu NEET 2021 counselling.
- Qualifications: Applicants must have completed class XII or equivalent with core courses of physics, biology, chemistry, and English.
- To apply for Tamilnadu MBBS/BDS 2021 counselling, the candidate must have passed the NEET 2021 examination. Those who have not taken the NEET 2021 exam or have not passed it will be ineligible to participate in the counselling procedure.
- The candidate should be at least 17 years on or before 31st December 2021.
- Applicant must be a resident of the state of Tamilnadu. The following are exceptions to this rule:
- Employees of the Tamilnadu State Government have children.
- Employees of the Government of India who are currently stationed in Tamilnadu have children.

Tamilnadu NEET 2021 Counselling Procedure
- Registration and Application
Candidates must register on the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education to participate in Tamilnadu NEET 2021 counselling. The announcement of the NEET result is frequently followed by registrations. The application procedure can be broken down into six steps:
- Using a valid email address, phone number, and NEET 2021 roll number to register online
- Using the credentials generated during the online registration process to log in
- Filling out the Tamilnadu NEET 2021 counselling application form
- Scanned photos of a photograph, signature, and thumb impression are being uploaded.
- Paying the application cost and submitting the application are both done online.
- Obtaining a printout of the completed Tamilnadu NEET 2021 application form
2. Counselling Fee: Candidates should pay a non-refundable amount towards Processing Fee by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10” payable at Chennai on the scheduled date of counselling.
For Government Quota: Rs.500/-
For Management Quota: Rs.1000/-
3. Document Verification
This is a physical/offline process. Candidates select a verification centre after filling out the registration form for Tamilnadu NEET 2021 counselling. They must then report to this verification centre, bringing all of their documentation with them (in original). Candidates will receive a confirmation slip after successful verification. This slip must be kept for future reference.
How to apply for Tamilnadu NEET 2021 Counseling

1st Step – Visit the official site tnhealth.tn.gov.in.
2nd Step – Click on the application/login portal for candidates which will be seen live on the webpage.
3rd Step – Candidates have to fill the application form by entering all the details.
4th Step – Download the filled application form and send the same form to the address that will be available on the official website once the schedule is released.
5th Step – Following document verification, fee payment etc, candidates must report to the colleges to which they have been assigned, provide documentation, and pay the remaining admission price.
If candidates fail to report to their assigned colleges within the prescribed period, their admission will be cancelled, and their seats will be allocated to another candidate in the following round.
6th Step – On the day of counselling candidates need to pay a demand draft for a non-refundable amount of Rs 500 in the favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10“.
(NOTE: Candidates can also withdraw from admission; in this instance, their admission status will be ‘In the process,’ and their part-admission payments will be repaid.)
