Symbiosis SET Result Date 2021

The announced and expected dates for Symbiosis Entrance Test – exam and subsequent results – are as follows.

Before the exam, SIU started the SET 2021 registration on January 28, 2021. And then released SET 2021 admit card in April.

How to check SET 2021 Result?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check SET 2021 result and download score card.

1st Step. Click on the link provided on this page to check the result

2nd Step. Candidates have to log in to their portal using their SET ID and password.

3rd Step. Click on the login button and submit the details

4th Step. The result is displayed on the next screen.

5th Step. Take a printout of your scorecard because you will need that in further processing.

SET 2021 Merit list

The institute prepares a category wise cut off for merit list after the declaration of the result. Candidates can check the category wise merit list online through the official website of SET. Admissions to the UG programme at Symbiosis international university are strictly based on merit, assessment of candidates performance in the entrance test and other processes prescribed by the university. A waiting list will also be displayed on the official website. The movement of the waiting list will depend upon the vacant seats available.

After SET 2021 Result – The Selection process

As soon as the Symbiosis university conducts the entrance test 2021, it shortlists candidates on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination. The shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates had to select institute at the time of filling SET application form. The selection process is a three-phase process.

Merit list will be based on the following parameters:

• For SLAT and SET Entrance Test score Scaled down to 50 marks
• PI-WAT is of 50 Marks (30+20)
• PI-ST is of 40 Marks scaled down.
• PI-WAT-ST-AP is of 70 Marks.

SET 2021 Cut off

The cut off is the minimum marks a candidate requires to qualify the exam and be eligible for the next round of selection process. The cut off will be released after the declaration of result. 

Each institute will prepare their own cut off for various courses offered under SET 2021. The cut off will be prepared on the following basis.

• The difficulty level of the exam
• Number of candidates who appeared for the exam
• Scores obtained by the qualified candidates
• Number of seats available in particular courses and institutesC
