SOA deemed to be University is announcing SAAT 2021 exam date, and starting registration soon. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University conducts their very own admission test SOA Admission Test (SAAT) for admission to various Undergraduate and Post Graduate level programs. The computer-based test is conducted nationally once a year for admission to programs such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, M.Pharm, LLM, and other lateral entry programs. Candidates aspiring for admission SOA for the academic session commencing 2021 must qualify the SAAT 2021 exam. The official information brochure and schedule of events related to SAAT 2021 are expected soon at the official website i.e. soa.ac.in. SOA is Granted with Graded Autonomy status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Although SAAT is conducted for admission to most programs, admission to MBBS, BDS, MD/MS and MDS courses is conducted through NEET 2021only. SAAT 2021 Exam Date

SOA has not yet announced the official exam date of SAAT 2021 exam. Based on previous year trends, it is expected that the actual exam date will be declared in January 2021 with the release of the online application process.

– SAAT 2021 Expected Exam Date: 2nd/3rd week of April 2021 –

Last year, the SAAT exam was conducted in the month of August although initially, it was scheduled to be held in May. Likewise, in its previous iterations, the SAAT exam was conducted during April-May. Based on such pattern it is expected that the SAAT 2021 exam will be conducted somewhere during the second and third week of April 2021.

SAAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria For All Courses

Certain eligibility conditions are laid down by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan for applicants intending to apply for the SAAT exam. Although the level of difficulty of the SAAT exam is reportedly moderate, candidates must note that the question paper contains 120 questions which must be solved within 120 minutes. Essentially, candidates have to answer a question accurately every minute in order to get full marks. SAAT 2021 Reservation Criteria

  • 15% and 7.5% seats in all programs are reserved for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories by birth (not by marriage or adoption).
  • 3% of the seats are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates for admission to programs in the disciplines of Engineering/Technology, MBA, MCA, HMCT, Pharmacy, Nursing and Biotechnology.
  • 30% of the seats under each category are reserved for women candidates.
  • The number of seats available for General category candidates is those that are available after the deduction of the total number of reserved seats in the particular program/category.

SAAT 2021 Counselling

Admission to the various programs offered through SAAT 2021 are made on the basis of the rank secured by candidates in the preferred merit list. Only those candidates who appear in the SAAT 2021 exam and qualify in it are allocated seats through the counselling process.

  • Three of the Engineering Programs offered by SOA are accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA.
  • SOA got Cycle 1 accreditation by NAAC of the Grade A on September 30, 2009, for a period of 05 years with a CGPA of 3.10.
  • SOA got Cycle 2 NAAC re-accreditation of the Grade A on November 16, 2015 for a period of 05 years with CGPA of 3.35.

Doctoral Programs

  • Deserving full-time researchers are awarded Rs 20000 worth of fellowship per month.

Yearly renewal of scholarship for doctoral programs are subject to the following criteria.

  • Academic performance with minimum CGPA of 8.0 in semester assessment with zero backlogs.
  • 80% attendance in each semester in each subject.
  • Candidate’s character and conduct certified by the Head of the Institution.
  • Candidates should not be bearing any adverse remarks.
