RRB Admit Card 2020

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Ministerial & Isolated Categories admit card 2020 (CEN 03/2019). The admit card for computer based test has been released on the regional website of RRB. Candidates can download RRB admit card from the link below, by entering registration number and date of birth. RRB Ministerial exam is from December 15 to 18, 2020. Candidate must carry their admit card, id proof, etc. on the exam day.

Check Railway Board and Media Interaction held today (11 Dec 2020)

On December 11, 2020, conducting a live press briefer, in which few important details were disclosed. These are as follows:

1. There are 3 major ongoing recruitment if railway right now – RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019), RRB Ministerial and Isolated categories (CEN 03 / 2019), and RRC Level 1 categories (RRC 01/2019).

2. RRB NTPC (CEN 01/2019) has 35,208 vacancies and the total number of candidates who have applied for it is 1.26 crore.

3. Exam date for RRB NTPC is December 28, 2020, to mid-March 2021.

4. RRC Level 1 categories (RRC 01/2019) has 1,03,769 vacancies and the total number of candidates who have applied for it is 1.15 crore.

5. The exam date RRC Group D will be decided are the NTPC exams are over. It will be probably held in April 2021.

6. Special trains will be running for the candidates wherever needed and feasible. State secretaries have been requested to look after the travel arrangements and other facilities.

COVID-19 Protocols to Be Followed At RRB Ministerial Exam Centres

The following COVID-19 guidelines will be applicable at the exam centres of RRB Ministerial recruitment:

Temperature check: Temperature of the candidates will be checked at the entry of the exam gates using thermogun. The candidates with temperature higher than the prescribed limit will not be allowed to enter at the centres.

COVID-19 positive / symptomatic candidates: If while taking temperature, for any candidate it is higher than normal then the candidates will not be allowed to take the test. However, such candidates will be given a second chance.

  • There exam will be reschedule.
  • Intimation for the same will be sent on the registered mobile number and email ids
  • Exact dates of the rescheduled exams will be intimated subsequently.

Crowd management and COVID-19 potocols at centres: Proper crowd management will be done following the COVID-19 protocols from the gates of the centre to the CBT labs. After each shifts, the exam centre will be sanitised. All the guidelines for COVID-19 will be followed as issued by the central and state governments.

Few important things to note are:

  • At the entry point, stand on the floor markers.
  • Candidates have to cooperate in frisking.
  • Sanitizers will be made available in the center.
  • Candidates have to wear mask all the time.
  • Avoid spiting in the venue.
  • Temperature will be taken at the center.
  • At the entry gate bar code guns will be used to check admit cards.
  • At the exam lab, first the admit card and the id proof will be checked and then candidates have to proceed for biometric and photo-capturing.
  • Rough sheet and a pen shall be provided at the center.

What to Take at RRB Ministerial Exam Centres?

The candidates have to take the following documents at the exam hall:

  • The hard copy of the admit card / e call letter
  • The COVID-19 self declaration form.
  • Face mask.
  • Original valid Photo ID –

Valid Id can be – Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, printout of e-Aadhaar, Driving License, PAN card, Passport, Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. employee,College/University Photo ID card, (if still studying)

How to Download RRB Ministerial Admit Card 2020?

The candidates can check the steps below that will help them download their admit card:

Step 1: Visit the RRB regional websites or click on the direct link provided on this page above.

Step 2: Click on the link to download admit card for isolated and ministerial exam.

Step 3: Enter registration number, date of birth, other details as asked in the login window that opens next.

Step 4: Hall ticket will appear on screen, save the same on the system and take print out of the same to carry on the exam day.

All the registered candidates for RRB Ministerial recruitment have been already issued their exam city, date, and time on December 5, 2020. This is done so that everyone is aware of their allotted exam centers, date, and time beforehand. Also, the eligible SC / ST category candidates have been provided with the travel authorities.

All candidates have been allotted exam centers within their states or involving minimum travel. In all, there are 354 CBT exam centers for the RRB Ministerial recruitment test.

Inside the Exam Centres of RRB Ministerial

The candidates will be under CCTV surveillance all the time during the exam. Also before the exam starts all candidate will have to go through bio metric and photo capture. The photo will be displayed on the computer screen of the candidates while they take the test.

Steps Taken by RRBs for Smooth conduct of the RRB Ministerial CBT

The following steps have been taken by the RRBs for smooth conduct of the exams across the nation:

  • All female PWD candidates have been given exam centres at their home states only.
  • All other candidates have been also accommodated in their home states or at centres that require minimum travel.
  • Railways will run special trains wherever required and feasible on the exam days.
  • All the chief secretaries of the concerned states have been requested to coordinate with the RRB to help implementable COVID-19 protocols and social distancing.

Enhancements done in CBT exams for fairness and Transparency

Here are a few points that makes the RRB selection process and CBT exams transparent and fair.

  • Candidates have been provided with mock test links so that they can familiarise themselves with the exam before the actual exam day.
  • All candidates will be shown their question papers, answer booklets and answer keys for maximum transparency in the evaluation process. In fact the candidates will be able to raise objection in the answer keys.
  • There are no interviews in the RRB exams and hence there can be no question on the interview panel for discretion. All selections will be based on merit only.
