PMNET 2022 – Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (BFUHS) conducts PMNET every year for admission into M.Sc Nursing course. PMNET stands for Punjab Master of Sciences (Nursing) Entrance Test. It is held in offline mode. In the test, there are 200 multiple-choice questions. The questions in this nursing entrance exam are asked from Nursing and General Knowledge / Trends in Nursing subjects. Once the test is held, the candidates need to take part in the counselling. PMNET 2022 Syllabus 

The questions for this exam will be based on Nursing and General Knowledge / Trends in Nursing. Hence the Questions are divided into two sections.

• The University has not published a well-defined syllabus.
• Questions will be based on the syllabus of B.SC and Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing course that is prescribed by the university Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot

PMNET 2022 Exam Pattern

The key points regarding the mode and pattern of the exam are as follows:

• The Exam is in offline mode
• The questions will be of objective type
• There will be 200 questions 
• 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer and no negative marking in case of wrong answers
• A fifth oval is introduced. Candidates cannot leave any questions unanswered. If they do not know the answer they will have to darken the fifth option. If left unanswered one mark each will be reduced.

PMNET 2022 Application Form

While applying for the PMNET the following are the points to be noted:

• The eligible candidates can fill PMNET 2022 application form at bfuhs.ac.in.
• More than one application connot be submitted and will be rejected.
• After the online application, the candidate will have to pay the fees online and no other modes will be accepted
• Fees should be paid within the last date.
• After the application submission, online an id and password are generated which will be sent to your registered mail id. This credential is important for the further application process. You may log in using these.
• Once you log in you can upload your photo, check your status, edit the application.
• Once you upload your photograph double-check all the details and print your application. This print will be asked to produce during the counseling.

Application Fee: The candidate will have to pay an application fee of Rs 5000/- (General Category) and Rs. 2500/- (SC Category) online.

PMNET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for PMNET 2022, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.

• The candidates must have passed B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an institute recognized by Punjab Nursing Registration Council and INC.
• The candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 55%.
• The candidates must be resident of Punjab.
• The candidates must be above 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2022.

PMNET 2022 Admit Card

Admit cards will be provided to those who pay the admission fee. Once published candidates may download it from the official website, bfuhs.ac.in.

• Candidates who appear for the exam must bring their admit cards along. Those who fail to will not be allowed inside the hall.
• Using your login credentials you may log in through the official website and download your admit card.
• PMNET 2022 admit card specifies the important details of the exam such as exam date, timings of the exam, exam venue etc.

PMNET 2022 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates who appear for the examinations need to strictly follow these instructions:

• The University shall give the exam centers to the candidates.
• The candidates are advised to reach 30 mins before the examination.
• The candidates have to produce the admit card at the center and under no circumstance will they be let to write without one.
• The seat will be allotted to students based on their roll no, candidates will have to find their seat and be occupied.
• Candidates who appear after 15 mins will not be allowed to write the examination.
• Any kind of material, textbook, bits of notes, papers, electronic gadgets, calculators are strictly forbidden inside the examination hall.
• Unless the examination is over no candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall.
• Unless they have the permission of the invigilator they cannot leave their seat. The candidate shall not leave the hall without handing in the question booklet as well as the OMR Sheet.
• Smoking is strictly forbidden in the examination hall. Any eatables and drinks will not be allowed inside the exam hall.
• Electric/Manual calculators, mobile phones if found to be used, strict action will be taken.
• Silence has to be maintained in the hall. If a candidate is found using unfair means will be debarred.
• Candidates can only use a Black fine tip ball pen only
• Rough work can be done on the margin of the question booklet.
• Candidates will have to mark their attendance. The Invigilator shall also sign at the appropriate places on the Question Booklet, OMR Response Sheet, and Attendance Sheet.
• The candidate must fill the question booklet number and OMR Response Sheet number very carefully

PMNET 2022 Result

Result is prepared as the Roll No/Rank wise and category wise. The individual rank cards will not be sent to the candidate.

The candidates have to download their result cards from the official website if they appeared for the examination.
Inquiries on the result date will not be entertained by the university. Candidates may visit the official website to receive the notifications on the result and when received may log in using the login credentials and download the card. 

PMNET 2022 Counselling

After the announcement of the result and merit list, the qualified candidates have to appear for counselling.

The candidate who has successfully cleared the cutoff marks will be called for counselling. These candidates have to bring all the relevant documents to the counselling centre. Also, candidates have to submit six months fees. No separate call letters will be sent.
