Candidates who have already attempted the exam can register for a retake exam until 24 Dec 2021. The filling of the NMAT application form without a late fee was closed on 10 Nov 2021. Image Specifications for NMAT Registration 2021
During the NMAT registration process, candidates need to upload images in the proper format and size. If a candidate uploads an image that does not meet the criteria could lead to disqualification of the application. Important points that need to consider while uploading an image is:
- Candidate need to upload their recent photo.
- Photos should be in one of these formats – GIF / PNG / JPG
- Photo should not be more than 6 months old
- Eyes should be clearly visible and open
- Candidate’s face should be straight, visible, and directed at the centre
- Shoulder tops should be clearly visible on the photo
- Photo size should not cross 1MB
- Landscape and rotated pictures are not allowed
- These phots are not allowed – Facebook photos / photos not having the mentioned size / photos with dark color background / photos in which the staff are unable to authenticate the candidate’s identity
How to fill NMAT 2021 Application Form?

Step 1: Visit the official website through the link given on this page.
Step 2: Fill in the basic details like Name, valid email address, valid mobile number, Country.
Step 3: Now the candidate would receive a password on the registered email id. Use the registered email ID and password received to log in again.
Step 4: As the next step, fill in the personal information like gender, category, date of birth, nationality, native language, ID proof details. Upload the photo according to the specifications.
Step 5: Submit the contact information such as alternate mobile number/email id, communication, and permanent address.
Step 6: Fill in the academic qualification and work experience details.
Step 7: Now the candidate can the schools where the NMAT scores will be sent. The application fee includes up to 5 schools/programs. If candidates want to send scores to more than 5 schools/programs an additional fee will be applicable.
Step 8: Complete the payment for NMAT 2021 application form.
Step 9: After the payment is done candidates can schedule their exam on the application dashboard. The candidates can book the slot for the exam after 24 hours from the time of slot booking. The candidate can now select the exam mode, whether the candidate wants to opt for an online mode proctored test or a Computer-based test at a test center.
- To schedule exam at test centre – Select country, city, and test centre. Then select date and time on which the candidate like to appear for exam.
- To schedule exam as an online mode proctored test – Setup the photo identification by uploading a government issued ID. Then select the correct date, time and time-zone.
Step 10: Now the candidate can visit the dashboard to download the NMAT 2021 Admit Card. Within 24 hours of filling the application admit card is visible on the website.
Note – A candidate cannot register multiple times. The candidate’s application can be rejected or canceled if multiple applications are found.
