The candidate has to complete the individual sections in their respective time duration. No candidate will be given extra time for any section. If the candidate finishes a section before the allotted time, the balance time will not be added to the next section.

NMAT 2021 is a computer adaptive test which means the score depends on the type of questions a candidate has answered. In 2020, GMAC made some changes in the scoring pattern for NMAT. NMAT 2021 will consist of 108 questions that the candidate has to complete in 120 minutes. Other important factors candidates need to keep in mind about NMAT Exam Pattern are:
- NMAT 2021 will be conducted in english language.
- NMAT 2021 is a computer adaptive test. This means the next question of the candidate depends on the answer to the previous question. Once the candidates answer the questions/sections, they won’t be able to return to the previous question/sections. Because of the adaptive nature of the NMAT 2021 Exam, they won’t be able to review the questions.
- Duration – Candidates will be allotted 120 minutes.
- Marking Scheme – There will be no negative marking for any question.
