This year, the NIMCET conducting authority (NIT Raipur) has decided to provide one-time NIMCET 2021 application form correction provision to the candidates. The authority decided this based on the many requests delivered by the candidates to unlock their submitted application form to correct the details in their submitted application form. The correction facility will be provided to only those candidates who will place their request between 2 April to 7 April 2021 by their registered mail ID with NIMCET 2021.
This is to be noted by the candidates that NIMCET does not allow them to make corrections in later stages after submitting the application form. But this year, the facility will be provided to the candidates. Once the correction requests will be scrutinized by the authority, the application form will be unlocked by the authority and the intimation for the same will be sent to the candidates’ registered mail ID. On 25 March 2021, The NIT Raipur released the NIMCET 2021 application form correction notification to facilitate the candidates who have committed mistakes in their filled application form.

What Details are Required to Unlock the NIMCET Application Form
To placing the request for unlocking the NIMCET 2021 application form for correcting, candidates are required to have the following details:
- Correct, valid and registered (with NIMCET) Mail ID for communication.
- Name and Application Number (Generated while filling the application form).
- Downloaded copy of NIMCET 2021 Application Form.
- Scanned copy of supporting documents to the correction particulars.
Mode of Communication Regarding Correction in NIMCET Application Form
Candidates are allowed to communicate regarding the correction or unlocking the application form through their registered mail ID on NIMCET 2021.
No other mode or other mail ID will be considered to evaluate or scrutinize the unlocking requests.
Candidates will get the unlocking information by the authority through the registered mail ID once the requests will be scrutinized by them.
No communication will be entertained after 7 April 2021 (12:00 Noon) regarding the unlocking request or correction issues.
How to Do Correction in NIMCET 2021 Application Form
For placing the unlocking request for making corrections in the NIMCET 2021 application form, candidates should follow the steps as given below:
- Note down the details and pre-collect the supportive documents for requesting from 2 April 2021.
- On the date, open your registered mail ID and compose a request mail to email@example.com and send CC to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Compose the mail with your Name and Application Number.
- Mention the mistakes/errors that need to be corrected in the online NIMCET 2021 Application.
- Attach the copy of the Filled NIMCET 2021 Application Form.
- Attach the scanned copy of Supportive Documents.
- Check the mail content and attachments once and click on the “Send” button.
- After scrutiny of the placed requests by the candidates, the authority will unlock the application form of requesting candidates and the information will be conveyed to the candidates by the same mail ID.
- Then, the candidates should follow the instructions that will be given through the mail.
NOTE: It may happen that the candidates will be suggested by the authority to make further corrections in the unlocked application form through the login window (as shown below) by entering the login credentials (email ID and password).

NIMCET 2021 Admit Card
NIMCET 2021 admit card will be released on 15 May 2021. The admit card will be released through the official portal of NIMCET at nimcet.in.
The NIMCET 2021 examination will be held on 23 May 2021. The admit card will be available to download till 22 May 2021.
Candidates will get the admit card by entering their login credentials (Email ID & Password) in the admit card releasing window.
The admit card will contain the important information of the aspirants referring to their candidature for NIMCET. Along with that the admit card will contain the examination details.
The candidates will be able to request the duplicate admit card before the exam date, in case their admit cards get tempered or lost.
About NIMCET 2021
NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is a national level entrance exam. It is conducted every year by the 11 NITs of India on a rotational basis. For the year 2021, the NIMCET 2021 is conducted by the NIT (National Institute of Technology), Raipur.
