NEET PG 2021 Postponed – National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that NEET PG 2021 exam has been postponed. Whereas the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG 2021) was supposed to be held on April 18, 2021. NBE announced on April 15, 2021, just 3 days before the exam, that the exam will not be held on this date. NBE will soon announce new exam date.
NBE Confirms – NEET PG 2021 POSTPONED
National Board of Examinations has confirmed that NEET PG 2021 has been postponed. It will be held on a new date. Read the official notice here.
Earlier, the board had announced that they will hold the exam with due protocols.
Is NEET PG 2021 Exam Postponed?
NBE has postponed NEET PG 2021. The exam will not be held on April 18, 2021, for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, Post MBBS DNB Courses, NBE Diploma in all medical colleges, universities in India except AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, SCTIMST, and JIPMER.
Many students have been searching the web for NEET PG 2021 postponement. Such candidates must note that the exam has been postponed, as has been officially notified by NBE at nbe.edu.in.
The reason that the exam is postponed, is because of the following reasons:
- Number of COVID cases are rising, which are leading to talks of lockdowns, travel restrictions, and other issues.
NBE Postpones NEET PG Two Times
NEET PG 2021 was postponed once already. On September 16, 2020, NBE published a notice with the exam dates of NEET PG 2021, NEET MDS 2021, FMGE Dec 2020, and DNB PDCET 2021 admission. As per that notice, the NEET PG 2021 exam date was announced as January 10, 2021.
This date was deferred and the final NEET PG 2021 exam date was announced as April 18, 2021.
Now once again because COVID-19 cases are rising again in many states of the nation, therefore NBE has decided to postpone the dates further.
Other exams like NEET MDS 2021 has been conducted by NBE as per the scheduled date, December 16, 2021, for which the result has been declared on December 31, 2020.
Also, the FMGE December session was conducted on December 4 and the result was announced on December 19, 2020.
NEET PG 2021 Application process Over, Download Admit Card
The application process for NEET PG 2021 is complete. All the successfully registered candidates can download their respective admit card to appear in the test as per release date.
NBE will also send email and SMS to candidates when admit card is issued. No one will get hall ticket by post or email. After downloading the NEET PG 2021 admit card, candidates need to paste a passport size photo on it. To download the admit card candidates have to use their login details at nbe.edu.in.
NBE is conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation at different exam centers across India. The exam center details, where the candidates have to go to take the exam, is informed to them via the NEET PG 2021 hall tickets only.

NEET PG 2021
NEET PG will be a computer based test, at center. In the exam, all questions will be multiple choice with single correct answer. There will be 200 questions. Exam will be of 3 hours 30 minutes duration. Candidates get get +4 for correct answer. Negative marking will be -1 for incorrect answers. No mark for un-attempted question.
Also, NBE will release a demo test on 8th April. Candidates can take the demo test to familiarize themselves with the computer based test pattern.
