NEET PG 2021 Notification

NBE has released the notification for NEET PG 2021 on its official website. The application form filling procedure has been started from 23th February 2021. The application can be filled upto 15th March 2021. The entrance exam will be held on 18th April 2021. NEET PG 2021 result will be released on 31st May 2021.

Scope of NEET PG 2021 as per Brochure

NEET-PG 2021 will be a single eligibility cum entrance exam for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses which will include the following:

  • All India 50% quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
  • State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India.
  • All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country.
  • Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
  • Post MBBS DNB Courses and Post MBBS DNB Diploma Courses

The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET PG 2021 session:

  • AIIMS Institutions
  • PGIMER, Chandigarh
  • JIPMER, Puducherry
  • NIMHANS, Bengaluru
  • Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum

NOTE: No State Government/Private Medical college/Universities shall be conducting any separate entrance for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the admission session 2021.

About NEET PG 2021 Application Form in The Information Bulletin

NEET PG 2021 application form has been released by NBE (National Board of Education) from 23rd February 2021. The application form is available via online mode through the official website (nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in)

The application form filling procedure will go on till 15th March 2021. Candidates looking for the application form must stick to the eligibility criteria first. Before filling the application form, one needs to register first on the official site and obtain the user ID and password.

Steps To Apply Given In The Bulletin

Before filling the NEET PG 2021 application form, candidates need to prepare the scanned documents for upload purpose. Candidates need to prepare the scanned images of color photograph, signature and thumb impression as per the below formats:

Photograph:

  • Photograph should be colour with white background.
  • Your face should be clearly visible.
  • The size of the image should be less than 80kb.
  • Image should be in .jpg/.jpeg format.
  • Image should not be blurred in the process of editing.
  • Digital enhancement is not permitted.
  • Make sure your face takes up at least 70-80% of the frame.

Signature:

  • The signatures should be done by the candidates only as it may be checked any time randomly.
  • Signature must be done on the blank white page without lines only will be accepted.
  • Take the white sheet and mark the box size of 3.5 x 1.5 cm (width x height).
  • Sign inside the box with a blue/black pen.
  • If the Candidate’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Attendance Sheet, the candidate will be disqualified.
  • Set the scanner to 200 dpi.
  • The scanned image should be saved in .jpeg/.jpg format.
  • Crop only box area.
  • The size of the image should be less than 80kb.

Thumb Impression:

  • Set the scanner to 200 dpi.
  • Save the scanned image of thumb-print as .jpg/.jpeg format.
  • Crop only box area.
  • The size of the image should be less than 80kb.

Candidates will get a short window for form correction too.

Eligibility Criteria is As Follows Per The Brochure

The NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses is as follows:

  • Candidates must possess a MBBS degree recognized by Indian Medical Council.
  • They must also be registered with Indian Medical Council or any Indian State Medical Council.
  • Candidates must complete the one year internship before 30th June 2021.
  • Those who have done the MBBS degree from the outside of the country must have passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) conducted by the NBE.

NEET PG 2021 Admit Card Details In Bulletin

The NBE will issue the online NEET PG 2021 admit card on 12th April 2021. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by login with the user account.

Candidates will be informed by the mail and SMS about the availability of admit cards on the website. No admit card will be sent to the candidate’s mail ID or contact number.

After downloading the admit card, candidates have to affix the color passport size photograph at the space given in the admit card. The photograph should be the same as uploaded in the application form.

The admit card will contain the personal details of candidates including the exam centre details and important instructions.

Candidates need to carry the photocopy of permanent/provisional registration issued by MCI or SMC and one original photo ID along with the admit card to the exam centre.
