Reasons For Expecting NEET 2021 and JEE Main 2021 Exam Date, Registration, Application Form, Syllabus Announcement on 10 December 2020:
#1. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced JEE Main, NEET dates last time also via a webinar.
The pandemic caught everyone by a surprise last year. First the lockdown was announced in March, and then progressively the number cases only kept on rising. In such a situation, the JEE Main as well as NEET exams were postponed from April/May to July. And then in July, on 3rd of the month, the Minister (at that time he was the MHRD Minister) held a webinar in which he announced the new exam dates for JEE, NEET.
Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone #JEE & #NEET examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept. pic.twitter.com/klTjtBxvuw— Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank (@DrRPNishank) July 3, 2020
Also, the Education Minister is very active on twitter. His twitter handle is @DrRPNishank. Most of the announcements on JEE, NEET are first made available by him via twitter.
#2. Almost all questions by students for #EducationMinisterGoesLive are about JEE, NEET dates
The Ministry of Education has been consistently tweeting with the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive. The Ministry is inviting students to ask their questions. And the Minister will be answering these questions during his webinar.
A majority of the questions asked by students revolve around
- JEE Main 2021 exam date – When will NTA conduct JEE Main January 2021 exam and JEE Main April 2021 exams?
- NEET 2021 exam date – When will NTA hold NEET UG 2021 exam?
- JEE Main 2021 registration date / application form date – When will the application form of JEE Main January / February 2021 be released? And what will be the last date for applying?
- NEET 2021 registration date / application form date – When will the application form of NEET UG be released? And what will be the last date for applying?
- JEE Main 2021 syllabus – Will NTA reduce the syllabus? If yes, which portions will be deleted? If not, how can students study the whole syllabus without re-opening of schools?
- NEET 2021 syllabus – Same concerns as the JEE syllabus.
Considering that the purpose of the webinar is to answer student queries, at least some of the above concerns should be sorted out.
#3. The webinar was postponed to answer more questions
Initially, the webinar was supposed to be held on December 03, 2020, at 1 pm. However the minister tweeted two days before the scheduled date that he is postponing the session so that they can cover more answers. In order to make sure that we cover most of your concerns, we have decided to extend the date of the webinar to Dec 10.
Till then keep sharing your concerns using #EducationMinisterGoesLive!“
