MICAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines – Do’s and Don’ts, Covid-19 Guidelines

MICAT 2022 Exam Day Guidelines – MICA Ahmedabad has announced some exam day guidelines to be followed on the MICAT exam day. Those guidelines are announced with the release of the MICAT admit card. The MICAT 2022 is going to be held on 04 December 2021 for phase 1 and on 29 January 2022 for phase 2. These guidelines contain all the do’s and don’ts the candidates have to follow on exam day. Candidates can refer to the following points for the exam guidelines for MICAT 2022 phase 1. These guidelines are based on the instructions are given on MICAT admit card. Candidates can click on the above link to download admit card.

  • Applicants must reach their test center at least 30 minutes earlier to the gate closure time. No candidates will be allowed to enter after the reporting time is over.
  • Admit card is one of the most important document that you’ve to take with you on the day of examination. Download your MICAT-I admit card and take a printout of it on an A4 size paper. Applicants must make sure that their photograph and signature are clearly visible.
  • It is necessary to carry one supporting ID proof along with the admit card. It can be – driving license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, aadhar card or identification affidavit.
  • Separate rough sheets will be provided to the candidates at the examination centre. There is no need to bring the stationery with you in the exam hall.
  • Candidates must paste the recent photograph in the box provided on the admit card. You should make sure that it is the same photo as the one uploaded in the application form.
  • The candidates must make sure that they are following the covid guidelines given in the admit card.
  • Also candidates shold maintain silence inside the exam hall.

MICAT 2022 COVID-19 Guidelines

Candidates can refer to the following points for the covid guidelines to be followed on MICAT exam day. These guidelines are released by MICA Ahmedabad.

  • Ensure that you maintain a safe and proper distance from the other applicants, invigilators and other staffs present at the examination centre.
  • Candidates must bring their own gloves, hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent water bottle, Face mask/shield, a simple ball point pen and the important documents (like Admit Card, aadhar card etc.) Any other items are strictly prohibited in the examination.
  • Candidates must have Arogya Setu app installed in their mobile phones.The Aarogya Setu dashboard must show candidate’s risk factor. The candidates must show the aarogya setu dashboard to the security guard. If a candidate does not have a smartphone they have to show the declaration form given in the admit card.
  • Candidates having COVID symptoms are not allowed to enter the exam venue.
  • Entry will be given as per the time slots mentioned on the hall ticket to maintain social distancing.
  • A thermo gun will be used to check the candidate’s temperature. The candidates whose temperature are not within the limit will be prohibited from appearing for exam.
  • Candidates will not be able to cross check their roll number and allotted exam lab from the outside of exam center. Once their admit card and other documents are verified they will be able to cross check the roll number and exam lab number.
  • Candidates must have to follow guidelines given by exam guidelines.
  • On registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize their hands using provided sanitizer. Candidate’s photograph will be captured during the registration process.
  • The candidates will be under CCTV coverage throughout the exam procedure.

What to Carry at the MICAT 2022 Exam Center

Candidates must carry the following documents with them to the MICAT exam center.

  • MICAT-I admit card
  • Any of the valid ID proof
  • 2 passport size photo
  • Ball point pen
  • Transparent sanitizer bottle (50 ml)
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Mask and gloves
  • Medical certificate (if applicable)

What not to Carry at the MICAT 2022 Exam Center

The following items are strictly prohibited in MICAT 2022 examination. Candidates are advised not to carry these items, if any candidate is found to have these items then their candidature will be canceled.

  • Mobile Phone
  • Digital watch
  • Laptops
  • Calculator
  • Bags/wallets
  • Any sheet or piece of paper
  • Notebook
  • Any electronic gadgets

About MICAT 2022

MICAT 2022 is conducted by MICA Ahmedabad for admission into their PGP courses. MICAT 2022 is conducted two times a year. MICAT entrance exam for phase 1 will be conducted tomorrow i.e. 04 Dec 2021 while phase 2 will be conducted on 29 Jan 2022. MICAT registration is open right now for phase 2.
