MHT CET 2021
State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts the Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test (MHT CET) 2021. The MHTCET 2021 is expected to be conducted somewhere during April – May 2021. MH CET is conducted for admission to the first year of B.E., B.Tech, B.Pharma, Pharma. D courses in Engineering, Technology & Pharmacy courses and B.Sc Courses in Agriculture stream.

The exam date of MH CET 2021 will be announced soon. As per past year trends the exam date is expected to be in May 2021. However the Maharashtra Board HSC SSC board exams will be held in June this year, this may cause a delay in MHT CET exam as well. Know more.

Since the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is for admission to undergraduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Technology and allied fields, the syllabus is accordingly as per the level of Class 11 and Class 12. The syllabus for the entrance exam includes (1) Complete syllabus of class 12 PCMB as prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (Excluding the portions deleted this time due to covid), (2) Some topics from the class 11 PCMB syllabus.
The class 11 topics that are in the syllabus are as follows. For class 12, please study complete Maharashtra Board syllabus (except the excluded portion this time due to pandemic).

Eligibility Criteria for MHTCET 2021
Candidates must be compliant with the specified minimum eligibility conditions in order to apply for the MHT CET 2021 for admission to the 2021 academic session. Check out the details below.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.
- Candidates must have passed/appearing in Class 12th exam (with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects) with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
- Likewise, those who have passed B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks and passed Class 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are also eligible to apply

MHT CET 2021 Application Form
The application process of MHT CET was conducted online in the previous iteration of the exam. Based on this fact, it is speculated that applications for MHT CET 2021 can be made online at the official website as per schedule. At first, one must register at the website mahacet.org for new candidate registration. Thereafter, candidates can apply online by filling up the application form. Check out the key steps below.

Step 3: Click on Registration and complete the MHT CET 2021 registration form. Enter email-id and contact number carefully.
Step 4: Log in to the portal and fill up the application form with the relevant details.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents including scanned photograph and signature.
Step 6: Now complete the application fee payment process.
Step 7: Complete the final submission.
Candidates have to deposit an examination/application fee at the time of online form filling up. As per last year, candidates were charged an application fee of Rs 800. The application fee amount for various categories as per the last iteration of the exam can be checked from the table below.

Important To Remember About MHT CET Admit Card
- The admit card must be downloaded by the candidate from the website mahacet.org. It cannot be received by post.
- One needs to login to the website in order to get the admit card.
- A printed copy of the admit card must be produced at the exam centre on the day of the exam. Failing to do so maybe the reason that candidates are not allowed to sit for the exam.
- Along with the MH CET admit card, candidates must also carry a valid photo identity for verification of identity at the exam centre.
- Ration card and Driver’s License are not valid photo ID proofs for MHT CET 2021.
MHT CET 2021 Result
The results of the MHT CET 2021 exam are usually released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra at the official website i.e. mahacet.org. Answer sheets from the exam are evaluated carefully and provisional answer keys of each set of the question paper and candidates response sheets are also published at the aforementioned website.
Candidates can check the results at the website as per schedule after the exam. There is no need to log in to the portal to check the results. However, one must log in with the Registration ID and Password to check the Candidate Response.
Final merit lists of MHT CET 2021 are deemed to be published after the completion of the document verification process. Candidates will be called for application for admission and post the verification of documents, the merit list of candidates is made available through the website. This trend was followed in the previous year exam and expected to remain unchanged this year.
