The yearly exam serves as admission criteria for Technical and Agricultural courses in the state of Maharashtra. In this context, admission to both Undergraduate courses in the field of Science, Technology and Agriculture is conducted through the MHT CET exam. MHT CET 2021 Exam Date

The exact dates and schedule of events of the MHT CET 2021 are released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra in due course of time through mahacet.org. Candidates awaiting the release of the official information brochure can expect it somewhere in March 2021. However, the exam is expected to be conducted tentatively in April 2021 based on the schedule of events during the last few previous iterations of the exam in 2020, 2019 and 2018. Eligibility Criteria for MHT CET 2021

Candidates must be compliant with the specified minimum eligibility conditions in order to apply for the MHT CET 2021 for admission to the 2021 academic session. Check out the details below.

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for MHT CET 2021.
  • Candidates must have passed/appearing in Class 12th exam (with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply.
  • Likewise, those who have passed B.Sc. degree with at least 50% marks and passed Class 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are also eligible to apply

MHT CET 2021 Application Form

The application process of MHT CET was conducted online in the previous iteration of the exam. Based on this fact, it is speculated that applications for MHT CET 2021 can be made online at the official website as per schedule. At first, one must register at the website mahacet.org for new candidate registration. Thereafter, candidates can apply online by filling up the application form. Check out the key steps below.

Step 2: Click on the respective course to apply for MHT CET 2021 for that particular course.

Step 3: Click on Registration and complete the MHT CET 2021 registration form. Enter email-id and contact number carefully.

Step 4: Log in to the portal and fill up the application form with the relevant details.

Step 5: Upload necessary documents including scanned photograph and signature.

Step 6: Now complete the application fee payment process.

Step 7: Complete the final submission.

Exam Pattern of MHT CET 2021

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducts the online exam for determining the eligibility of applicants for admission to various 4-year degree courses in Engineering, Technology, Science and Pharmacy streams. Candidates can check out the complete pattern of the exam from below.

  • The exam is conducted as a CBT (online)
  • The paper is documented in 03 languages i.e. English, Urdu and Marathi
  • The total time allowed to complete the test is 180 minutes
  • Group I (PCM) consist of 150 questions carrying a total of 200 marks
  • Group II (PCB) consists of 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks.

Here is a list of few important tips that candidates can follow to take their preparations for MHT CET 2021 to a whole new level.

#1: It is important to understand the exam pattern first. Look for opportunities. For example, in the exam for PCM group, half of the marks are carried by the Mathematics paper posing high scoring opportunities.

Important To Remember About MHT CET 2021 Admit Card

  • The admit card must be downloaded by the candidate from the website mahacet.org. It cannot be received by post.
  • One needs to login to the website in order to get the admit card.
  • A printed copy of the admit card must be produced at the exam centre on the day of the exam. Failing to do so maybe the reason that candidates are not allowed to sit for the exam.
  • Along with the MHT CET 20201 admit card, candidates must also carry a valid photo identity for verification of identity at the exam centre.
  • Ration card and Driver’s License are not valid photo ID proofs for MHT CET 2021.

MHT CET 2021 Results

The results of the MHT CET 2021 exam are usually released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra at the official website i.e. mahacet.org. Answer sheets from the exam are evaluated carefully and provisional answer keys of each set of the question paper and candidates response sheets are also published at the aforementioned website.

Candidates can check the results at the website as per schedule after the exam. There is no need to log in to the portal to check the results. However, one must log in with the Registration ID and Password to check the Candidate Response.

Final merit lists of MHT CET 2021 are deemed to be published after the completion of the document verification process. Candidates will be called for application for admission and post the verification of documents, the merit list of candidates is made available through the website. This trend was followed in the previous year exam and expected to remain unchanged this year.
