MET 2022 Exam Pattern – Marking Scheme, Syllabus, Preparation Tips

MET 2022 Exam Pattern – MAHE has released the exam pattern for every course on the official website manipal.edu. It is available in the syllabus pdfs released for each course separately. It is important to know the pattern of the examination before starting preparing for it. MET stands for Manipur entrance test which is conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The paper of MET 2022 will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. It will be conducted in Online Mode. In this article, the exam pattern is given, with the syllabus, important books, preparation tips, etc.

MAHE releases the MET syllabus for every program for which it is conducted. Candidates can refer to the following information the program-wise syllabus for MET. This information is based on the information available for last year.

B.Tech.

Mathematics – Sets and Functions, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Mathematical Induction, Limits and Derivatives, Trigonometric Functions, Introduction to Three-dimensional Geometry, etc.

Physics – Physical World and Measurement, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Behaviour of Perfect Gases and Kinetic Theory of Gases, Electronic Devices, etc.

Preparation Tips for MET 2022

Here some of the tips and strategies are given which will be a great help to all the candidates. You can refer to the following preparation tips-

• For every chapter, you study, make sure to revise it in a few days of completion of a topic and practice regularly.
• Spend more time on important chapters that carry more weightage than others. Solve questions of all difficulty levels.
• Practice previous year question papers, solve atleast last ten year papers.
• Revise your Class 12th Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics properly.
• All you need to do is know all the formulas for maths and physics and practice more questions as fast as you can.
• Organic chemistry is very important – remember the major product for each reaction. 
• Learn new shortcuts and tricks for Mathematics section.

Exam Instructions for MET 2022

Candidates can refer to the following points for the exam day instructions for MET 2022.

• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the completion of test. If the candidates leave the exam hall with any reason then they cannot re-enter or resume the test.
• Any Electronic device is not allowed inside the Examination Hall.
• Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the E-hall ticket.
• Do ensure that there is no noise in the background. 
• No one other than the candidate should be there in the room.
