MAT 2021 – All India Management Association (AIMA) invites MBA aspirants to do MAT May exam 2021 registration. The May exam will be held in June, in PBT, CBT, IBT modes. Previously, the MAT February exam was held and its results are already announced.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is the national level MBA entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). It is usually held four times in a year – Feb, May, Sept, Dec. The exam is of 2.5 hours with 40 questions each from language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, indian and global environment. The score of MAT exam is accepted over 600 B-Schools across India, and some abroad, for admission in MBA and allied programs. MAT 2021 Registration
Candidates can register for MAT 2021 online only on the official website, mat.aima.in. Check the steps to apply for the MAT 2021 exam:
- For the registration process visit the official website of MAT, i.e. mat.aima.in.
- The candidates have to register first using the below-given details:-
- Name of Candidate
- Date of Birth
- Mobile No.
- Password of choice
- State
- Next, the candidates have to verify the OTP sent on the provided mobile number and email id. Enter to verify the details and proceed.
- Use the MAT 2021 login to access the online application form.
- Pay the application fee. The candidates have to select their preferred exam mode, test city choices, and pay the applicable application fee.
- Upload Photograph & Signature
- Update Personal Particulars, Qualification & Experiences, and Choices for Management Institutes.
- At last, Download filled in the Registration Form.
Payment of MAT 2021 application fee:
The candidates have to pay the below given application fee to apply for MAT 2021 –
- The candidates who opt for the Internet-Based Test (IBT) have to also select the exam date and time from the available options. The IBT mode of the test is held over multiple days and shifts. The candidates have to enter their preferred date and time in the MAT 2021 application form itself.
- Candidates who opt for 2 IBTs/PBT+IBT/CBT+IBT/PBT+CBT have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores. Under this scheme, candidates can select 7 Management Institutes instead of 5 Management Institutes.

MAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates have to fulfil the below given criteria to be able to apply for MAT 2021 eligibility:
Age limit:
- There is no age limit to apply for MAT 2021.
Qualification:
- The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree.
- A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally.
Apart from that there is no other restrictions to apply for MAT.

MAT 2021 Preparation Tips
MAT 2021 preparation can be done effectively using the below given tips:
Syllabus: The syllabus is not prescribed by AIMA. Thus the candidates have to get hold of the topics that come in the exam. To do so, candidates have to analyse the previous papers, and also check some expert analysis of the past year papers. This shall allow the candidates know what are the important topics that come in the exam.
Self analyse: Pick out your strong and weak areas in all the sections and then start the preparation as per it. Start with the strong areas and then eventually cover the weaker ones.
Books: Gather all good books to prepare for the exam. Not so many books should be referred for preparaton. Refer a few good books that have all the topics that come in the exam.
Mock tests: Take as many MAT Mocks during your MAT exam preparation. The mock tests help the students to get an idea of the exam pattern and the nature of the exam.
Watch TV series with subtitles and read good books: Yes, if someone is weak in VA & RC, reading different articles and novels, conversing in English with friends and family, and even watching English TV series and movies can help.
Sample papers and previous year papers: The sample papers are published by AIMA that the candidates can use to prepare fo the exam. Also, there are books available online that has past year question papers of MAT. This shall help the candidates practice for the upcoming exam.
Difference between MAT 2021 IBT and PBT
Computer Based Test means the candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate submits the answers through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer.
This is unlike the Paper Based Test, which is generally offered on a single day to all candidates. In the traditional Paper Based Test, the candidate is supposed to bring Pen, HB-Pencils, Erasers, and Sharper with them whereas the Question Paper & OMR Answer Sheet is provided at the Test Centre.
MAT 2021 Admit Card
All the registered candidates have to download the admit card for the exam online at aima.in, under their respective logins. To download the MAT 2021 admit card candidates have to use their Email ID, Password, DOB. Specific admit card is generated for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test.
Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No., Roll No., Test Date, Test Time, and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of the Computer Based Test.

MAT 2021 Result
The candidates have to visit aima.in to download the MAT 2021 result as per the specified date. The result is declared in the form of a scorecard under the respective login of the candidates.
On the scorecard candidates can check their personal details, section wise percentile scores and overall composite score. The validity of the scorecard is also mentioned on it.
