How to Prepare for KMAT 2022

Language Skills: The aim of the departments is to evaluate the candidates with knowledge of English grammar. The section will have questions on similarities, synonyms, and antonyms, match the list, idioms, one word for many, fill in the blanks, and mark different images of speech. Mentioning some grammar books, reading newspapers, magazines will also update your vocabulary and core skills.

Logical and Critical Reasoning: This section focuses primarily on the student’s logical, analytical, and reasoning skills. Regular puzzle-solving enables you to achieve accuracy. You can also mention previous year’s question papers and solve a mock test to improve your speed.

Mathematics: Understand formulas, concepts and solve problems as much as possible. Thorough knowledge of concepts helps you to solve problems correctly. The formulas should be at your fingertips to gain momentum when solving problems.

Coaching Class: Another option is to join a coaching class to prepare for the exam.

Solve Previous Year Question Papers: You can try to solve the previous year’s question papers and attend mock tests to get familiar with the exam pattern.

KMAT 2022 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: KMAT 2022 examination will be conducted through Remote based Proctored test mode only.
• Duration: Total duration will be 2 hours to the candidates for solving the question paper.
• Questions: Total 120 number of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in this examination.
• Marking Scheme: Total 01 mark will be awarded to the candidates on each correct response and there will be no negative marking in KMAT 2022.

KMAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2022 from the table given below.

For MBA/ PGDM Course

• Qualification: You have to passed bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognized University.
• Marks: Applying candidate have to scored at least 50% marks (45%for reserved category) in the examination.
• Appearing: All the aspirants appearing in their final examination in 2022 can also apply for the examination.

For MCA Course

• Qualification: Candidates have to passed Bachelor’s degree holder in required discipline from any recognized university.
• Marks: You should have scored at least 50% marks in the examination to be eligible for admission.
• Subject: You should have Mathematics as your mandatory subject in the examination.
• Appearing: Appearing aspirants in the final semester examination can also apply for the admission.

KMAT 2022 Application Form

The Application form releases through online mode. According to the previous year, it is expected that the application form will be released in the 4^th week of May 2022. Authority will be released the application form for eligible candidates only. You have to fill the application form very carefully as there won’t be any correction facility in the application form such as Phone No. and Email id. Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the filled application form and fee receipt for future references.

Candidates have to know the application fee before registering themselves.

• Application Fee for every candidate will be Rs.800/- for this examination.
• The Application Fee will be submitted through online mode.
• Candidates can pay the application form by Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking payment gateways for transaction of application fee.

Applicants will be needed to keep all the following information and documents ready with them before they begin the registration process for KMAT Kerala 2022.

KMAT 2022 Admit Card

All the aspirants shall be able to download their admit card for the KMAT exam from the official website. Candidates need to login into their dashboard to access the link to the KMAT 2022 Admit Card. It is advised to you that all the candidates should download and take a printout of the admit card and paste a photograph on it. The candidate must be carried admit card along with valid identity proof at the reporting time for the exam.
If candidates forget to bring any documents, in this situation they will ineligible for appearing in the exam. Details of the exam center and timing will be communicated to the applicants through their admit card.

KMAT 2022 Result

The candidates can check KMAT 2022 result from the official website. According to the previous year, it is expected that, the result of the entrance test will be declared in online mode in July 2022. Eligible candidates will be able to check their result and download their score card by using their application number and date of birth. A merit list of the qualified students shall be prepared by the authorities on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. Counseling and further admission process will be announced as per the score of the merit list of the candidates.

KMAT 2022 Counseling

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the counseling process where they can offer their choice for courses and institutes. Candidates should contact them through the official website and report for counseling as per the schedule. Candidates must carry important documents with them as they will be verified during counseling. Candidates will be allotted their seats after successful verification on the basis of ranking and preference. Selected candidates will have to report to the assigned institution to complete the formalities of admission.

About KPPGCA

Karnataka Post Graduate Private College Association (KPPGCA) was established to facilitate professional education and facilitate and streamline admissions to postgraduate professional courses. It was first conducted in 2003 and was born out of the need for a Unified Entrance Examination for the State of Karnataka. More than 170 AICTE-approved MBA colleges and more than 55 MCA colleges offer admissions based on scores obtained in the KMAT exam. Candidates who pass the KMAT Karnataka 2021 exam will be called for further admission process by the participating institutions which includes group discussions and personal interviews.
