Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has released the exam day guidelines for KIITEE 2021 online proctor test, at kiitee.kiit.ac.in. The Phase 1 of the exam will be held on May 25, 26, 27, 2021. Candidates who will appear for the exam will have to follow all the KIITEE 2021 Remote Proctored Test Guidelines. The guidelines states technical, physical, and exam requirements with the instructions.
KIITEE as an online remote proctor test can be given from home or any other convenient place. To give the examination, the candidates must have a working computer or laptop or android mobile phone (only if laptop / computer is not available). KIITEE 2021 slot booking is from 17-21 May.

It is also compulsory for all test takers to also take the KIITEE 2021 mock test.
It is important to follow all the guidelines, as during the exam live proctoring of the exam will be done. Candidates should note that the invigilators can have a look of the room from where candidates are giving their exam through the webcam anytime during the exam.
Also, keep in mind that the remote proctor will send the warning message if he / she find the candidates doing anything suspicious or if the candidates are indulging in any malpractice activity while giving the exam. The invigilator is authorized to intervene and pause the test if necessary.
Device Needed for KIITEE 2021 Remote Proctored Test
To take KIITEE 2021 exam, candidates need:
- Either a laptop
- OR a computer
- Or a mobile phone
- And a Webcam
- And a good Internet Connection
Candidates just need any one of these devices and not all of it. But a webcam is a must.
Internet should be of 1 MBPS, else the remote proctor test will not work. Also, do ensure that there is at least 2 GB data for live streaming.

The specification for each device are as follows:
Specification for Computer / laptop
- Pentium IV / Dual core with 1GB RAM or higher
- 80 GB HDD or higher
- 15″ colour monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Microsoft Windows 7 and above
- Google Chrome
Specification for Mobile
For candidates not having computer / laptop, the test can be given from 4G mobile set (Android only). Google Chrome must be there in the mobile phone.
Do and Don’t for KIITEE 2021
These are physical requirements of KIITEE 2021 online remote proctored exam. Check the guidelines given below.
a) The candidates must give the exam from a quiet place. There should be no external disturbances / noise during the exam. The room must be isolated and only the candidate must be there in the room for the entire duration of the exam.
b) Place the computer / laptop in such that the back is facing the wall. There must be no devices in the background.
c) The computer / laptop must be placed properly on a table or a desk. There should be no objects like papers, books, any other electronic devices mobile phones, tablets or any other laptops on the desk.
d) Ensure proper lighting (no back light) during the exam. The lighting should be such that the candidate’s face is properly visible on the camera.
e) The candidates must be dressed formally for the exam.
a) Do not take help from others during the exam.
b) Do not wear any bluetooth devices.
c) Do not read anything loudly.
d) The candidates must not leave the workstation while taking the test.
e) Do not play any radio / music / TV in the background.
f) Specify all the other members of the family not to enter the room during the exam
Important Instructions for KIITEE 2021
Since KIITEE is being held as an online remote proctored examination, given below are some instructions that candidates have to keep in mind while answering the questions.
- One question at a time: The candidates will be shown one question at a time. Select the appropriate option to answer the question.
- Going to the next question: After answering a question, click on the ‘Next Option’ button that is present at bottom of the screen to go to the next question.
- Navigating the questions: The candidates cannot go back to a question once it has been answered or skipped.
- About the exam: The total duration of the test is 120 minutes. The language of the questions will be in English. 04 marks will be awarded for each correct answer. 01 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 marks will be awarded for no response.
