- A balck / blue ball point pen
It must be noted that during Kannada Language Test, the candidates need to carry KCET 2021 admit card, marks card of parents, study certificates etc.
Why to use black / blue ballpoint pen only? It is necessary to use a black / blue ballpoint pen only because the OMR sheet comes with a set of two sheets. So, it is necessary to have the impression of the answers in the second sheet as well while answering the question on the topmost sheet.
If a pen with nib is used, the pressure on the top sheet will not be enough to activate the chemical on the bottom sheet. The ballpoint pen exerts the pressure on the other sheet to convert the chemical into the dark spot. Hence, it is necessary to use the ballpoint pen only.
