JIPMER BSc 2021 Entrance Exam – Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, will release the application form at the official website i.e. jipmer.edu.in. There are a total of 153 seats in all the three courses covered under B.Sc nursing. The JIPMER BSc 2021 Entrance Exam will held at 7 cities tentatively. Candidates must understand the exam pattern and prepare the syllabus thoroughly to secure their seats.

JIPMER BSc 2021 Application Form

JIPMER releases JIPMER BSc 2021 Application Form on the official website i.e. jipmer.edu.in. Candidates can fill the application form through online mode only. They should also download the filled in application form for future references. Since, no application form correction opportunity is provided, candidates should fill the form correctly and carefully. Shown below are the steps to apply.

  • Go to the official website jipmed.edu.in.
  • Now, click on the button ” “Apply on-line B.Sc./ M.Sc / MPH / PGD / PGF / PhD Courses admission.
  • Thereafter, candidates need to fill details like name, address, phone number, email ID etc.
  • Then, the username and password is generated and sent to candidate’s number and email id.
  • Now, login with the credentials and fill application form with personal, qualification, internship and other details.
  • Thereafter, they need to upload documents and choose the test city centre.
  • Now, pay the fee and submit the form.

If a candidate thinks that they have entered any incorrect detail in the JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 application form, then they need to fill a fresh new JIPMER BSc Nursing 2021 application form and pay fee again. This way, the previously submitted form stands cancelled.

Common Reasons for Application Form Rejection

Candidates should take care of the following points before application form submission.

  • Candidates who do not fall under the prescribed age limit category are rejected.
  • Any candidate who has not secured minimum 50% in Class 12 PCB / PCM is deemed rejected.
  • Any candidate applying for SC / ST / OBC category must have proof / certificate, otherwise application form is deemed as rejected.
  • Candidates who have applied under Puducherry status, but do not have valid proof are rejected.

JIPMER BSc 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read and understand the eligibility criteria before filling the registration form. The conditions are as follows.

Nationality

  • Candidate should be citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2021.
  • There is no upper age limit.

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates should have secured atleast 50% marks in PCB in Class 12 or higher secondary examination.
  • The minimum marks required in PCB exam for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes / PwD is 40 %.
  • The minimum marks required for PCB exam for PWD candidates in general category is 45%.
  • The subjects shall include English as a core course as per 10+2+3 structure.

JIPMER BSc 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates must understand the scheme of the examination ie the exam pattern thoroughly, the following pattern is based on last year.

Mode of Exam Language: The examination is conducted in English medium only.

Exam Mode- Online i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT)

JIPMER BSc 2021 Counselling

JIPMER conducts counseling sessions for selected candidates in offline mode tentatively. They first need to register at jipmer.edu.in and appear for bio metric verificationon the date, time & venue mentioned on website. This information will be made available on the result day itself. The competent authority holds subsequent counselling session is any seat is vacant after Round 1.

Documents to be submitted on the day of Counselling

The Candidate should submit the following certificates along with one set of self-attested copies.

  • Original Hall ticket with the sign and seal of the centre Representative/Invigilator
  • Rank Letter
  • Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or X Std. Certificate).
  • Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
  • Statement of marks of the qualifying examination.
  • Character and Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institute last studied.
  • Residence Certificate issued by Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar.
  • In case of Other Backward Classes/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe, a Community Certificate, recently obtained from the competent authority – a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

JIPMER B.Sc 2021 FAQ’s

Q.1 – Can I edit my application form after submission?

Ans- Correction in the application form will not be possible after the final submission. In some cases the exam authority open the correction window for a fixed time duration, but this is not sure for now so it is important for the students to fill the form correctly.

Q.2 – Will the exam be conducted in offline mode also?

Ans – No, the exam will only conduct in online mode.
