JEST 2022 Mode of Examination
This examination will be conducted as a computer based test for Physics and Part A of the Theoretical Computer Science (TCSc). Until 2021, the exam was held as a pen and paper mode exam. However, this year, it shall be conducted as a computer based test at the given centers.
JEST 2022 Language of Examination
The entrance examination will in the English language only. As it is a national-level examination, with students appearing from all across the nation, no regional language will be opted for as the language for this examination. The most commonly used language i.e. English is being opted by the conducting authorities for the inclusivity of all candidates appearing for this examination.
JEST 2022 Exam Duration
The examination will be of the duration of 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours. No candidate will be given any extra time under any circumstances, irrespective of how late they reach/commence the examination. Also, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall three hours from the starting time of the examination.
