Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh will publish question paper, JEECUP 2021 answer key, response sheet of JEECUP 2021 after exam. On the basis of the final keys, JEECUP 2021 result is compiled in the following way:
- For each correct answer, 04 marks are awarded
- For each incorrect answer, 1/4th marks i.e. 01 marks are deducted
Rank: The rank is determined according to the total marks secured in JEECUP 2021.

JEECUP 2021 Admission Preference
Following candidates are given preference at the time of admission. Check the details given below.
- The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the institute situated in Uttar Pradesh OR Parents of a candidate are domicile of Uttar Pradesh OR Mother / Father of a candidate is an employee of Central Government and is currently posted in Uttar Pradesh.
- If the seats are vacant after the admission of the above-mentioned candidates, the admission shall be open for the rest of the qualified candidates of ‘Other Than Uttar Pradesh‘.
- Foreign candidates should be nominated / recommended by their own country and nominated / recommended agreed by Govt. of India.

JEECUP 2021 Counselling
The candidates who have passed JEECUP 2021 and are eligible for counselling can check the details of the counselling at jeecup.nic.in. The counselling process is given below.
- Complete the registration process: The qualified candidates have to first register for counselling.
- Payment of counselling fee: After the completion of registration, the candidates are required to pay the counselling fee.
- Choice filling: Then, choices of branches / institutes have to be submitted.
- Seat allotment: The candidates are offered admission according to their choices, reservation and State Open Rank in UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2021.
- Document verification: Once the seat has been allotted, the candidates have to then report at at the allotted institute for document verification.
