JEE Main photo requirements 2021 – NTA has recently opened JEE Main image correction facility. This is a one time opportunity for the students to correct images in the application form. Students are advised to take this seriously because only those forms are accepted in which photos are uploaded in the correct prescribed format. Hence, to make sure that your form is accepted, you need to know JEE Main 2021 photo requirements. Basically, you have to upload scanned photo, image of the signature, certificates, etc. The size, dimensions, format, and nature of these is give below.
JEE Main 2021 application form correction window for editing the details is available from January 27 to 30, 2021. Candidates who have an error in their uploaded documents / photos / details can correct it from here.
JEE Main 2021 Photo Requirements
First of all, candidates have to upload all the scanned images The images are to be uploaded for:
- Recent photograph
- Candidate’s signature
- Duly verified result awaited attestation form
- Category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / EWS etc.)
- PwD certificate
Scanning images: With the help of a scanner that converts the hard copy of any document in soft copy, candidates have to scan the above documents. #1. Recent photograph
The following specifications have to be taken care of while uploading scanned image of recent photo:

- The photograph has to be recent.
- The photograph must be either colored or black and white with 80% face visible (without mask).
- Ears in the photograph must also be visible.
- The photograph must be taken against a white background.
- Make sure the image uploaded is in the proper format and clear.
#2. Candidate Signature
The signature of the candidates must be as per the following specifications:

- It should be done by the candidate only in a running hand.

What is a duly verified result awaited attestation form?
It is a certificate / document that is issued by the head/ principal of the school where the candidates is pursuing their 10+2. This certificate states that you have appeared in the class 12 exam and your result is yet to be declared. Or you are yet to appear for the class 12th examination.
#4. Category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / EWS etc.)
The candidates have to scan the category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / EWS etc.) as per the specifications below to upload in the application form:

If a candidate belongs to any of the reserved category like SC / ST / EWS / OBC, then as a proof they have to upload their caste certificate. Caste of the candidates is used to prepare the category wise AIR, counselling, admission and throughout the academic session. Hence this certificate must be uploaded if candidates belong to reserved category.
#6. PwD certificate
All candidates having physical disability, have to upload the PWD certificate as per the specifications below:

Physically disabled candidates shall be put under the general category f their disability is not supported by a valid certificate. Hence it is important to upload the PWD certificate.
How to Do JEE Main 2021 Image Correction?
Image correction facility is open and the candidates can check the steps below to correct any error in the images, if needed:
Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the link that says “image correction JEE (Main) 2021“.
Step 2: Next, the candidates have to login using application number and password in the specified fields. As shown in the image below.
Step 3: Click on the ‘sign in’ button to submit the login details.
Step 4: After this in the next screen in the candidate dashboard, click on the relevant link for removing image discrepancy and move forward to edit the images. As shown in the image below:

JEE Main examination 2021 is one of the prominent engineering entrance test conducted in pan India. National Testing Agency conducts this examination pan India in the online mode.
