How to Download JEE Main 2021 Response Sheet?
The response sheets of the candidates are uploaded with the question papers. The steps to check the response sheet is given below:
Step 1 -Visit the official website i.e. jeemain.nta.nic.in, or click on the direct link above.
Step 2 – On clicking the direct link above the login portal as shown below opens:
Step 3 – Now, to access the login, the candidates need to enter application number and password, as generated at the time of filling the application form.
Step 4 – When the details have been entered, click on the blue ‘Sign In’ button.
Step 5 – After the step above, the candidates need to click on the ‘View question paper’ link.
Step 6 – Through the link, the candidates can download their JEE Main 2020 response sheet.
How To Use The JEE Main 2021 Response Sheet to Check Answers?
Candidates can use the response sheet with the JEE Main 2021 answer key to calculate score. To do so, the candidates need to follow the steps below:
- Open response sheet and answer key of JEE Main 2021.
- First, match the question Id and then match the answer id in the answer key with that given in the response sheet.
- If the id matches then add 4 marks. However, if the ids do not match then deduct marks as per the marking scheme, which is:

Importance of JEE Main 2021 Response Sheet
NTA releases the response of the candidates to maintain transparency in the exam. It enables a fair and transparent way for the calculation of the JEE Main 2021 result. Through it, candidates can do the following:
- Can check all the answers marked in the exam.
- Questions and correct answer is also mentioned in it.
- Candidates can use it to predict scores in JEE Main 2021.
JEE Main 2021 Question Paper
NTA releases the question papers of JEE Main 2021 that have the questions asked in the exam, the options of the questions, and the selected option by the candidates (response). To download it, candidates require application number and password / date of birth. The question paper consists of two types of questions – MCQ and Numerical value type questions.
The response sheet and the question paper are the same thing. NTA releases a PDF that has the questions asked in the exam and the response of the candidate to those questions. Hence there is no separate PDFs for question paper and response sheet.
JEE Main 2021 Answer Key
The answer key of JEE Main is also released online, on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. It is available in answer id format. NTA releases answers for each candidate individually. It should also be noted that from the answer key candidates can only predict raw score in JEE Main 2020. NTA scores / percentile are only announced with the result of JEE Main 2021.
Candidates are allowed to challenge the answer key of JEE Main. To do so, the candidates need to submit objections from the login and pay a fee of Rs. 200 per challenge. The valid objections are implemented in the final answer key of JEE Main 2021.
JEE Main 2021
The NTA conducts Joint Entrance Examination Main in computer based mode. It is held for admission of candidates B.E / B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan courses, offered by NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, etc. The exam is being held 4 times a year, in February, March, April, and May. The rank of JEE Main is used for admission, which is grated in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
