JEE Main 2021 Registration Dates
Candidates who wish to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) for BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan admissions must fill and submit the JEE Main application form 2021 before deadline. Also, the dates for each of the four session are given here.

* – NTA has said that the JEE Main application form 2021 for session 2, 3, 4 will be available for a few days after the result of the previous exam. Therefore the registration for session 2 i.e. March exam is expected to be available after JEE Main 2021 result for February exam is announced on March 7, 2021. Likewise, the dates for JEE Main April 2021 application form, and JEE Main May 2021 application form will be known as per result dates of JEE Main March 2021, and JEE Main April 2021 respectively.

Mode to pay application fee – Candidates can submit application fee via any of the following modes: SBI / Canara Bank / HDFC Bank / ICICI Bank / Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UP.
Additional Bank Charges – The following extra charges is applicable with JEE Main 2021 registration fee, depending on the gateway of fee payment of application fee.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2021?
Candidates can check below the steps to apply for JEE Main 2021 application form:
Step 1: Do JEE Main 2021 Registration
- Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the link “Apply for JEE Main 2021”.
- Then on the next page, click the JEE Main 2021 Registration link.
- The candidates have to register using their own email id and contact numbers.
- The candidates have to fill these details in this section:
- Father’s Name – As in class 12th certificates
- Mother’s Name – As in class 12th certificates
- Gender – As in class 12th certificates
- State of Eligibility – It is the state from where you have passed class 12 exam.
- State where class 12th School / NIOS Study Center is located – This must be the same as the state of eligibility.
- Identification Type
- Identity Card Number – Enter the ID number as mentioned on the ID Card
- Candidates Name – As in class 12th certificates
- Person with disability (PwD) – yes / no ( if yes, mention the percentage of your disability in the next dialogue box, and mention if you need a scribe to write your answer or not- only visually challenged candidates having 40% or more disability are provided a scribe).
- Are you Diabetic? – Choose yes / no
- Nationality – select the nationality of the candidate.
- Place of Residence – urban / rural setting of the residence of the candidate.
- Date of Birth – same as registered for class 12th exam.
- Category – General / SC / ST / OBC (Candidates who do not belong to the OBC Non-Creamy Layer list should register themselves as General)
Step 2: Filling the online JEE Main 2021 application form
- Note the application number generated after registration.
- Next, the candidates have to complete the full application form by filling all the details asked, like:

- Choice of JEE Main 2021 Exam City – Provide 4 test choices, in order of priority – Check the list of exam cities.
- Question Paper Medium – Select the language of the exam.

Step 3: Uploading of scanned images
- Upload scanned images of recent photograph, signature, result awaited attestation form, category certificate, PWD certificate.
- The scanned images must be as per the specifications only.
Step 4: Payment of the application fee
- Pay the application fee applicable fee using SBI / Canara Bank / HDFC Bank /ICICI Bank / Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking /UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page
- Download, save, and print a copy of the confirmation page for future references. The confirmation page is generated once the application form is successfully submitted.
Photograph and Signature Specifications for JEE Main 2021 Application Form
It is to be noted that the images and certificates must be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications specified by NTA. The format and specifications for the same are mentioned in the table below.

Other important specification to know about the photograph and signature:
- Photo should be recent and can be coloured or black and white.
- Must display face in 80% area. The face should be without mask.
- There should not be any red eye, glare, etc.
- Signature must be neat and not in all caps.
What’s New in JEE Main Application Form 2021?
The JEE Main 2021 shall be held in 4 Sessions – February, March, April, and May 2021. Few important things to note regarding application form are:
- Candidates can apply for 1 session or more than one session in the JEE Main Feb application form.Â
- If a candidate applies for more than 1 session, then they need to pay an application fee for both / all the sessions.Â
- If a candidate only applies for the Feb session this time, then they will get a chance to apply in the March / April / May session in future.Â
- Candidates who apply for more than 1 session can change their choice for the exam center in the application correction window, if needed.
- JEE Main 2021 form for next session shall open right after announcement of the result.Â
- Application fee once paid shall not be refunded. However, this time, NTA is allowing candidates to take it forward to another session of JEE Main 2021.Â
- NTA is not at all going to accept multiple applications.Â
- The confirmation page shall be generated after the fee payment. However, if it is not generated and the fee is paid then approach the bank / payment gateway.
JEE Main 2021 Application Status
Once the candidates register for the JEE Main 2021, they can check the status of the application process in the dashboard, as shown in the image below. The status is shown as “complete” and “incomplete”. As soon as the candidates complete various steps of the application process, status changes to “complete”.

Age limit: There is no age limit.

Selection of Center and Languages in JEE Main 2021 Application Form
In the application form of JEE Main 2021, candidates have to select 2 crucial details, which are:
- Exam center.
- Exam languages.
Candidates have to select 4 choice for the exam center and out of those, one shall be allocated in the admit card of JEE Main 2021.

JEE Main 2021 Query Redressal System
The candidates can register any query they have for the application process or anything else, from their dashboard. To register a query candidates can use the steps below:

Step 2: Now the candidates can perform 2 actions here:
- Add new query
- Check the status of any old query
- To add a query, select the query type from the drop down menu
- Add the description of the query – explain the doubt.
- If needed add any attach a relevant screen-shots in JPG/JPEG or PDF format of size 10-200 KB.

Step 3: Submit the query by clicking on the “submit” button.
How To Fill JEE Main 2021 Application Form at Common Services Centres?
Candidates who are not well conversant and submitting face difficulties in the online application due to various constraints can use the services of Common Services Centres to fill the form.
There are more than 1.5 lakhs Common Services Centres (CSC) across the country which provide the desired support to candidates from urban as well as rural areas in online submission of application form and payment of fee through e-wallet.

The candidates can visit their nearest CSC and take the help of the staff there to fill the application form. Make sure to carry the required documents at the center. The documents to carry are:
