JEE Main 2021 Answer Key – NTA has released the JEE Main 2021 final answer key for Phase 4 (B.E. / B.Tech course) on which the result complied on September 15, 2021. The direct link of the final answer key is given below. Some days back the provisional answer key for session 4th at jeemain.nta.nic.in was released and the candidates were given option to challenge the answer keys, in case of any errors. The provisional answer key is available for exam held on 26, 27, 31 Aug and 01, 02 Sep 2021. Using the answer key of JEE Main 2021, candidates can predict marks in the exam. Calculate Score Using JEE Main 2021 Answer Key?

Candidates can use JEE Main 2021 answer key to predict score in the exam. To do so, the candidates just need to follow the steps below:

The official answer key for JEE Main can only be downloaded JEE Main 2021 login. To get it, the candidates need to follow the steps below: 

Step 1: First of all, go to the jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on the button for “View Question Paper and Challenge Answer Key” 

Step 2: Thereafter, enter the candidate’s login with the help of application form number and password / date of birth.

Step 3: At last, under the login candidates can check the question paper, response sheet and answer key for JEE Main 2021.

JEE Main Official vs Unofficial Answer Key 2021

There are 2 types of JEE Main 2021 answer key. One if the unofficial answer key and another is the official answer key. The details of both type of JEE Main answer key is as follows:

JEE Main 2021 Unofficial Answer Key – This answer key is released by coaching institutes and teachers. Since JEE Main is a CBT exam, it is prepared based on questions told by the students who appeared for the exam. Hence, it is also called as memory based answer key. Few institutes which released JEE Main unofficial answer key are:

  • Resonance
  • Aakash institute
  • Rao IIT
  • Allen kota, etc.

JEE Main 2021 Official Answer Key – The official answer key of JEE Main is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is released at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download it by entering application number and password / date of birth.

The official answer key for JEE Main is released under the candidate login and is unique for each candidate. Along with the official answer key, question paper and responses are also released. Candidates can challenge the answer key. Then, changes are made in the key and final answer key is provided. Based on final JEE main answer key, result is announced.

How to Challenge JEE Main 2021 Official Answer Key?

The JEE Main 2021 answer key is open to challenges. If a candidate feels that the answer given in the key is not correct then they can submit objects against it. To do so, the candidates have to pay Rs. 200 per objection. The amount of objection will be refunded if the objection stands valid.

How to submit objection against JEE Main 2021 Answer Key?

Step 1: Click on the link above to access the login.

Step 2: Enter application number and password / date of birth to access the login.

Step 3: Then, in the dashboard, click on the “Challange Answer Key” tab.

Step 4: On clicking it, candidates will get to see Paper, Question ID, Correct Question(s), and Objection(s) ID Claimed.

Step 5: Candidates have to tick the box against the correct answer id and then click on the “Save Your Claims”

Step 6: After this, the candidates will have to upload the document of proof by clicking on the “choose file” button.

Step 7: Lastly, click on “Save your Claims and Pay Fee” button. Once candidates pay the amount of fee, the objection will be submitted.

JEE Main 2021 Question Paper

On the day of the exam,  memory based JEE Main 2021 question paper is released by different coaching centres like Akaash, Allen, Resonance and Motion IIT. It is based on the questions and answers remembered by the students who appear for JEE Main exam.

However, a few days later, answer key for JEE Mains 2021 is officially released by National Testing Agency. The official question paper has the responses of the candidates too. It i released for all shifts and days in which JEE Main 2021 is being held.

JEE Main 2021 Response Sheet

One more thing which NTA will release along with JEE Main 2021 answer key is response sheet. Actually, a response sheet is a pdf in which answers selected by a candidate for each question is mentioned. However, for JEE Main 2021 the responses are mentioned in the question paper. The answer marked by the candidate is given as “Chosen answer ID”. It is given in front of each question. 

Candidates can also challenge responses. If they feel that the answer marked by then is given wrong in the login then they can challenge it by filling a form and paying Rs. 200. 

JEE Main 2021 Result

The result for JEE Main 2021 is going to be released online at the NTA website. JEE Main result 2021 is determined through the process of Normalisation. Since the exam is being conducted on different days in different sessions. Some candidates may get an easy paper while others a tough one in JEE Main 2021 exam. Hence, to ensure that no student is at a disadvantage, NTA adopts the process of normalization for determining JEE Main 2021 results and ranks. The normalized score is calculated on the basis of the following formula.

100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score Equal to or less than the candidate  Total number of aspirants who have appeared in the ‘Session’.

JEE Main Previous Years Cut Off

NTA releases the cut off score for JEE Main entrance exam along with the declaration of the result. JEE Main cut off is the minimum score required by the candidates to qualify for JEE Advanced. It is to be noted that there is no passing or qualifying marks in JEE Main which means that all candidates who appear for the exam are given ranks for admission in NITS, IIITs, CFTIs.

About JEE Main 2021

 National Testing Agency i.e NTA conducts the JEE Main 2021 in computer based mode. The exam is of 3 hours and questions asked are of MCQ and numerical answer type. It is conducted in shifts and paper are categorised into B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan. The authority allots 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for negative answers. Qualified candidates then have to register and exercise options through the JOSAA counselling 2021.
