It has been confirmed that the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will conduct the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. Director IIT Delhi, Mr Venugopal Rao mentioned this in a tweet on JEE Advanced exam in the month of September 2020.
Will the syllabus be reduced for JEE Advanced 2021?

Organizing Institute of JEE Advanced 2021
Every year one of the top IITs conducts the JEE Advanced exam, IIT Delhi being the one that conducted the exam previously. Eligibility Criteria For JEE Advanced 2021
The official information brochure for the JEE Advanced 2021 is yet to be published by the corresponding conducting IIT. However, five crucial eligibility criteria must be satisfied by all candidates who are willing to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. These are as follows.
The applicant has to rank among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE Main 2020.
Applicants have to be within the specified age limit of 15 years in order to apply for the exam. The exact dates of birth of eligible applicants will be notified through the official information brochure for JEE Advanced 2021.
Candidates are allowed only two attempts in two consecutive years in the JEE (Advanced). Those who have surpassed the maximum number of attempts are therefore ineligible.
Applicants of JEE Advanced must have appeared in Class 12th or equivalent examination. They must have appeared in such an exam for the first time with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
The applicant must not have been admitted to an IIT before. This is irrespective of whether they accepted the admission by reporting to the designated institute in the past or continued in the program. Candidates whose IIT admission was cancelled in the past after joining any IIT are not eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination.
Exam Pattern of JEE Advanced 2021
Till date, the JEE Advanced has been conducted as a Computer Based Test. Based on the previous year exam pattern, there are two compulsory papers consisting of three separate sections. The sections are based on the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the questions are structured in a manner that puts to test the ability of the test taker to comprehend, reason and analyse.
The JEE Advanced examination has provisions for negative marking. However, the detailed marking scheme is indicated in the “Instructions to Candidates” section at the time of the exam. The paper is set bilingually in the English and Hindi languages. Candidates are provided 03 hours duration to complete the test for each paper.
