JEE Advanced 2021 Result is expected to be announced in June 2021. IIT Bombay announces JEE Advanced result online at jeeadv.ac.in. How is the JEE Advanced 2021 Result Compiled?
The result of JEE Advanced is compiled based on the marks of the candidates obtained in CBT. The candidates who appear for both the papers of JEE Advanced 2021 are evaluated based on the marks they get in the exam.
The subject wise in the exam is compiled as per the points below:
- Marks obtained in Physics in JEE Advanced 2021 is equal to the marks secured in Physics part of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Similarly, marks obtained in Chemistry in JEE Advanced 2021 is equal to the marks secured in Chemistry part of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
- Likewise, the marks obtained by the candidate in Mathematics in JEE Advanced 2021 is equal to the marks obtained in Mathematics paper of Paper 1 and Paper 2.

How is Rank Decided in JEE Main 2021? (Tie Breaking Also)
The rank of the candidates is decided as per the marks of the candidates in the exam. The candidates are ranked in order of the marks obtained by the candidates. More is the mark, better is the rank.
In cases where 2 or more candidates get the same tank then the tie breaking policy is applied in the following order:
- First of all, the candidate with higher positive marks is given a better rank.
- If the tie is still there, then the higher rank is given to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics.
- If the tie still exists, then the better rank is given to the candidate who has higher marks in Physics.
- If the tie could not break after the above points, then the candidates are awarded the same rank.
JEE Advanced 2021 Cutoff
The cutoff marks of JEE Advanced 2021 indicates the minimum marks needed to qualify the exam. The cutoff marks is announced with the information brochure of the exam, however, until then candidates can check the cutoff marks from last year:
Note: 2 types of cutoff are released for JEE Advanced. One with the brochure and the other after the result. The difference between them is that the cutoff that is released after the result is the final one and also the revised one. Revision in the cutoff is done based on the number of candidates appearing the exam, seats available in the IITs and other factors.

What to Do After JEE Advanced 2021 Result is Out?
Once the result is out, the qualified candidates have to first register for JoSAA counselling by paying the registration fee. Next, the candidates have to fill the choices of course and IITs. After the choice filling, the allotment of seat result is announced. Now, the candidates have to make a decision to either accept or reject the seat. JEE Advanced 2021
JEE Advanced is held at the national level for the admission in Bachelor’s, Integrated Masters or Dual degree programs in Engineering, Science or Architecture disciplines in the IITs.
