About JAM 2022

JAM is also known as Joint Admission Test for Masters is a common admission test conducted to offers admissions in M.Sc and other post-graduate science course programmes. Candidates can get admission in reputed institutions such as IITs, IISc, and NITs. The entrance test is organised by alternating institutes every year. It is a computer-based entrance test with three hours time duration. The question paper carries 60 questions which comprise of 30 multiple choice questions (MCQ), 10 multiple select questions (MSQ) and 20 numerical answer type (NAT) questions. Total marks are 100, 50 for MCQ, 20 for MSQ and 30 for NAT. Negative marks are given in the MCQ section.
