ISI 2021: Merit and Allocation (Out), JRF Interview, Result

ISI 2021 – Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) has released the merit lists and 3rd round allocation for Bachelor of Statistics (Honours) Programme at isical.ac.in. ISI admission 2021 has offered to programs that include B Stat (Hons), B. Math. (Hons), M Stat, M Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M Tech (CS), M Tech (CrS), M Tech (QROR), PG Diplomas and Research Fellowships. Admission is on the basis of an entrance test followed by interviews. Students of ISI also get stipends. Founded in 1931, ISI has campuses in Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Tezpur. Students with an inclination towards mathematics, probability, economics, statistics, computer science are encouraged to apply for ISI admission 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for ISI Admission 2021

Indian Statistical Institute will lay down some eligibility conditions for each course. Candidates must check the conditions before applying. Based on the usual ISI admission data, the general guidelines on criteria are as follows.

Master of StatisticsMust have completed their 3 years B.E./ B.Tech degree with Statistics as a subject. 
Or the candidate must have a Bachelor of Maths from ISI.
Or the candidate must have completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics from ISI.
Master of Mathematicshe candidate should have a three year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
Or, a  BE/B Tech Degree, with Mathematics as a subject from a college.
Or, they should have a Bachelor of Stat degree from ISI.
Master of Science in Quantitative EconomicsMust have 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Mathematics as a subject at the class 12th level.
Master of Science in Quality Management ScienceMust hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Mathematics as a major subjects. 
Or aspirants must possess a degree in B.E. or B. Tech in any stream.
Master of Science in Library and Information Science Should have Undergraduate degree from any discipline.
Master of Technology in Computer Science/ Cryptology and SecurityCandidate must have completed his 3 years B.E./ B.Tech degree with Mathematics as a subject.

Indian Statistical Institute 2021 Application Form is available online.

ISI invites application form in online mode. ISI 2021 application form releases at isical.ac.in. Eligible candidates can apply for ISI admissions through the admission portal.

Keep the scanned copies of photo, signature educational qualification certificates beforehand. Aspirants first have to register themselves at the ISI application portal and create an account. Thereafter, they can conveniently fill-up the application form and make the payment. On successful submission of ISI 2021 application form, candidates must take a print out of the same.

Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) [B Math (Hons)]
two written tests comprising multiple-choice type and descriptive questions in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Master of Statistics [M Stat]The written admission test is designed to assess competence in the theory and methods of Statistics
and comprehension in Mathematics, and has two parts:
– multiple-choice questions in Statistics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level in the first part, and
– short-answer questions in Statistics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level in the second part.
Master of Mathematics [M Math]The admission tests will comprise multiple-choice questions in Mathematics in the first part and short-answer type questions in Mathematics in the second part. The questions will be on Mathematics at a level corresponding roughly to the Mathematics Honours/Major of Indian universities
Master of Science in Quantitative Economics [MS (QE)]The written admission tests will comprise multiple-choice and short answer type questions in both Economics and Mathematics at the undergraduate level.
Master of Science in Quality Management Science [MS (QMS)]The written admission tests will comprise multiple-choice and/or descriptive questions in Mathematics at the undergraduate level.
Master of Technology in Computer Science [M Tech (CS)]

Master of Technology in Cryptology and Security [M Tech (CrS)]
The written test consists of two tests:
(i.) a multiple choice type test on Mathematics at the B.Sc. (pass) level
(ii.) a subjective test consisting of two parts, the candidate having to answer any one part:
Group A: Mathematics at the B.Sc. (pass) level
Group B: Computer Science at B.E./B. Tech. level

Tech (QROR)]
The Admission Test is conducted in two sessions (forenoon and afternoon):
Session 1: a multiple-choice type of test in Mathematics at the undergraduate level;
Session 2: a descriptive test for the two streams as follows:
Part I (for Statistics Stream): A test divided into two sections carrying equal marks, in Statistics and Probability. Candidates must answer questions from both the sections.
Part II (for Engineering Stream): A test divided into two sections carrying different marks, in Mathematics and Engineering. The Engineering section will have questions on Thermodynamics, Engineering Mechanics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Engineering Drawing. Candidates must answer questions from both the sections.
Postgraduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics [PGDSMA]The admission test will comprise multiple-choice questions on Basic Mathematics.
Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Management with Statistical Methods and Analytics [PGDARSMA]The admission test will comprise multiple-choice questions on Mathematics (up to 12th standard), Logical Reasoning, as well as English Grammar and Comprehension

ISI Admit Card 2021

Indian Statistical Institute 2021 Admit Card will be available a few days before exam.

The admit cards for the ISI admission test releases online at isical.ac.in a few days before the exam. Information regarding the release of ISI hall ticket is also conveyed to aspirants through registered email address. Applicants can download their ISI 2021 admit card using the unique registration number. It is important to note that the conducting body releases separate admit cards for each test (forenoon and afternoon or only forenoon). Applicants have to mandatory carry the ISI 2021 admit card to the exam centre on the day of admission test.

ISI Selection Procedure 2021

Aspirants are shortlisted for the offered courses on the basis of performance in the written tests and interview. To take admission under Junior research fellowship programme, candidates have to clear the national level entrance test along with ISI admission test. Depending upon the seats available and performance applicants will be shortlisted for the offered courses.
