IPMAT 2021 syllabus and exam pattern is available on this page. In IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2021 questions come from Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ and Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ). The candidates have to prepare the topics asked in these two sections. However, the syllabus of IPMAT is not prescribed by IIM Indore. But, on this page, we have listed the topics that are asked in the exam in the last few years. Questions in the exam are generally framed from these topics.
However, since there is no fixed syllabus, the candidates must prepare for IPMAT 2021 with a flexible approach. They should be ready for some surprises in the paper.

IPMAT 2021 Exam Pattern
Following is the exam pattern of IPMAT 2021:
- Total time of the exam: The exam is to be completed in 120 minutes. Each section is to be completed in 40 minutes
- Total questions: The total number of questions is 100
- Total sections: There are 3 sections
- Marking scheme: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except the Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).

How to Prepare for IPMAT 2021?
The candidates can check below some tips that can be helpful in preparation of IPMAT 2021:
Study all subjects daily: The candidates have to consistent with their studies. Thus, you have to make sure that you are covering all the subjects daily. In IPMAT all the subjects are of equal importance and hence, no subject must be ignored.
Decide the target: The candidates have to decide what is their target. To be able to score a high rank in IPMAT, equally high preparation will be needed and hence be prepared.
Previous year question papers: Analyse the topics asked in the exam with the help of the previous year’s question papers. Since the syllabus is not prescribed by IIM Indore, check what topics are asked previously in the examination using the previous year question papers.
Mock tests: You can give lots of mock test to know your preparation level. Many mock test series are available online that can help you.

IIM Indore conducts IPMAT annually for admission in IPM programme. IPM is a 5 year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). This entrance test is held at the national level in around 30+ cities. The candidates who qualify the entrance test are then called for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview. Only after qualifying all the three test, students will be granted admission to the IPM at IIM Indore.
