INI CET 2021 Registration
The entire process of INI CET application process has 3 stages. They are as follows:

What is basic registration in INI CET? Basic registration is one-time process to be done by applicants for appearing in postgraduate courses. The process of basic registration includes the following steps:
- Initial registering for the generation of Registration ID and Password.
- Filling the personal information and uploading of images (photo, sign, left thumb impression).
- There is no application fee charged at this stage.
The applicants whose basic registration has been earlier accepted for the previous postgraduate examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, are NOT required to register again.
They can directly proceed for Stage 2 which is Generation of Registration Unique Code, [RUC], for application for INI-CET, Jan 2021. This can be done after logging in at the Basic Information Zone using their Registration ID and Password.
This is a code that is generated for each session separately. Therefore, the candidates whose basic registration have been accepted earlier too, have to generate a different RUC for each new session. The RUC is important as it is a unique code required at the various stages of the admission in PG courses. It is generated only for those candidates whose basic registrations have been accepted.
After the RUC is generated for INI CET, the applicant is required to proceed with applying for INI-CET 2021 at the Final Registration page.
To access the application form, candidates have to login with the following details and complete the application process:

- Code (RUC) for INI-CET 2021
Applicaion fee is charged in this stage and is as follows:

The mode of payment of the application fee is Debit card / credit card / net banking.
INI CET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for INI CET, candidates must check the eligibility for it. The same is given below:
For Indian Nationals
Qualification: MBBS degree for MD / MS / DM-6yrs / MCH-6yrs and BDS degree for MDS courses from National Medical Commission / Medical Council of India as notified by Govt. of India and Dental Council of India respectively.
Internship: Candidate must also complete the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship / Practical training by the dates as mentioned in PART-B of the INI CET information brochure.
Minimum aggregate marks in qualifying degree:
- For candidates belonging to the SC / ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate is needed.
- 55% marks in aggregate for all other categories including OBC / EWS Category.
- For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate of 50% is needed.
For Foreign Nationals
The eligibility for the foreign national candidates is as follows:
- Candidates are required to obtain a certificate of grading system from the applicable University / Institution to determine the value of grading in percentage. The marks calculated accordingly must
be filled in“Marks Column” for completion of Final Registration.
- The Foreign National applicants must have 55% minimum marks in aggregate in all the MBBS / BDS professional examinations.
- They must obtain a No Objection Certificate obtained from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. It should be submitted to the Examination Section on or before the due date.
INI CET 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of INICET 2021 is as follows:
- Duration: The total time of the exam is 3 hours.
- No. of questions: There will be 200 questions.
- Mode: The exam will be held as a computer-based test.
- Types of questions: Objective type of questions of varying types (including Single Correct Choice and Multiple Correct Choice questions).
INI CET 2021 Exam Syllabus
AIIMS New Delhi has not specified any specific syllabus for INI CET.
It is expected that the syllabus shall be as per the general norms of a PG medical entrance exam. Which means, one has to study as per the following.
Syllabus for MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), M.Ch (6 yrs) entrance exam: MBBS degree level topics.
Syllabus for MDS entrance exam : BDS degree level topics
Last time there were many clinical-based questions along with anatomy and physiology. There were many questions from psychiatry too.
INI CET 2021 Admit Card
AIIMS Delhi releases INI CET admit card. Candidates can download it from aiimsexams.ac.in. To download admit card of INI CET for AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS admission 2021, candidates need to login by entering registration id, RUC code, and password. The INI CET admit card 2021 contains various details such as name of candidate, roll number, test centre name and address, timings, photo and signature of candidate.
What to carry with INI CET 2021 Admit Card
- Along with the printout of INI CET admit card, candidates also need to carry – valid ID Proof.
- The ID is to be carried must be original
- The acceptable ID proofs are –> aadhaar card, e-aadhaar card with the image of the face, passport, voter id card / EPIC, PAN card with photo, driver’s license.
INI CET 2021 Answer Key
The answer key of INI CET is released unofficially. The answer key was not released officially last year. The memory based answers leys contains the answers of the memory based questions that ar shared by the candidates after the exam is over. It is provided by the experts and coaching centres. Candidates can use the same for reference purposes only.
INI CET 2021 Result
The result for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) is announced as pdf, at aiimsexams.org. Qualifiers in the entrance exam are offered admission in various Masters, Doctorate courses offered in AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER and NIMHANS. After the result is declared, those pass the exam will have to appear for the counselling process which includes steps like an invitation of choices, seat allotment, etc.
The result for CET exam is declared by online mode only under the student’s login. The percentile scores in INI-CET is used for admission in PG seats in a total of 11 participating institutes.
Tie Breaking Criteria in INI CET: In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks in INI CET exam, their tie is resolved in the following order:
- Candidates with less negative marks get a higher rank.
- If the tie remains, then candidate older in age gets higher rank.
INI CET 2021 Seat Allocation
The seat allocation for the available postgraduate seats in participating INIs shall be done through online mode only. The seat allocation shall be conducted for at least Two (2) Rounds followed by Open Round. Additional Rounds of seat allocation may be done before the Open Round if needed. The seat allocation shall be done in order of merit, choices made by the candidate, and as per the reservation policies of individual INIs.
The process will be done via Institute-wise Synchronization of Seat Allocation (InSAS).
