Indore Institute of Law Entrance Test (IILET) 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of IILET 2021 are as follows:
- Age Requirement: There is no age bar to appear in this test.
- Nationality: Candidates should belong to the Indian nationality.
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- Stream: Candidates from any stream can apply for this test.
- Qualifying Percentage: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category must have secured 40% marks in the qualifying exam. Other categories must have secured 45% marks.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the last year of the qualifying exam, can apply for this test. They must have to produce the passing certificate at the time of admission.

IILET 2021 Exam Pattern
The IILET 2021 syllabus and exam pattern is given below:
Exam Module: The exam will be compiled in Written Test, Interview and Psychometric Test.
Mode of the Exam: The exam will be held offline as a paper-based test.
Duration: The duration of the written test is 2 hours.
Questions Type in Written Test: There will be 150 multiple choice type questions in the exam.
Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be rewarded.
Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer 0.25 mark will be deducted.

The IILET 2021 syllabus includes the 5 subjects:
English Language: In this section, the candidates will have to attempt the series of questions based on the given passages (450 words each) and demonstrate the language skills as:
- Read and comprehend the main point discussed in the passage and any arguments and viewpoints discussed or set out in the passage.
- Draw inferences and conclusions based on the passage.
- Summarise the passage.
- Compare and contrast the different arguments or viewpoints set out in the passage.
- Understand the meaning of various words and phrases used in the passage.
Current Affairs & General Knowledge: In this section, the candidates will have to attempt the series of questions based on the given passages (450 words each) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills as:
- Contemporary events of significance from India and the world.
- Arts and culture.
- International affairs.
- Historical events of continuing significance.
Legal Reasoning: This section will be divided into passages of 450 words each. The questions will be asked on this passage and candidates have to demonstrate the following skills:
- Identify and infer the rules and principles set out in the passage.
- Apply such rules and principles to various fact situations.
- Understand how changes to the rules or principles may alter their application to various fact situations.
Logical Reasoning: This section will be divided into small passages of 300 words each. The questions will be asked on this passage and candidates have to demonstrate the following skills:
- Recognize an argument, its premises and conclusions.
- Read and identify the arguments set out in the passage.
- Critically analyse patterns of reasoning, and assess how conclusions may depend on particular premises or evidence.
- Infer what follows from the passage and apply these inferences to new situations.
- Draw relationships and analogies, identify contradictions and equivalence and assess the effectiveness of arguments.
The Quantitative Techniques section of the IILET 2021 will include short sets of facts or propositions, graphs, or other textual, pictorial or diagrammatic representations of numerical information, followed by a series of questions.
You will be required to derive information from such passages, graphs, or other representations, and apply mathematical operations on such information.
IILET 2021 Admit Card
The eligible candidates will get the IILET admit card 2021 a few days before the commencement of the exam.
The IILET 2021 admit card will be issued online at the official website of the institute at indoreinstituteoflaw.org.
Candidates will get their admit card by providing the login details (Username and Password) in the login window.
Candidates will be required to carry the downloaded copy of the IILET 2021 admit card and a photo ID proof to the exam centre on the day of the exam.
They will also be required to carry the same particulars to the institute on the interview and psychometric test day.
IILET 2021 Result / Merit List
The IILET result 2021 for the written test will be released first after the completion of the written test. Candidates will be able to check their name on the official website by the login.
The Indore Institute of Law has not released the result date yet. But the result will be released on the official website of the institution.
The result will contain the score of the candidate in the IILET 2021 written test. The score will be prepared out of 150 marks according to the marking scheme.
Candidates who will be shortlisted for further rounds of Psychometric test and Interview will be called for the rounds. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by the online mode.
Shortlisted candidates will get the procedure and schedule of their further selection procedures by email also.
After the completion of all selection steps like written test, psychometric test and interview, a common merit list will be prepared based on the weightage scheme.
The final merit positions will be prepared based on the 50% weightage to the written test, 30% weightage to the interview and 20% weightage to the psychometric test.
The admission will be given from the higher ranks.
