IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet the following IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 eligibility criteria before applying:

Education qualification:

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination to be considered for admission to the Bachelor of Design Degree degree (B.Des) – Fashion Design.
• Attended the qualifying examination and received at least 50% of the marks.
• All admissions to the Bachelor of Design Degree degree (B.Des) In Fashion Design are contingent on passing an IFTK-conducted aptitude test and interview.

Age Limit:

• There no age limit specified by the institution.

IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 Application Form

The application form for the entrance exam is released in both, online and offline mode. Interested students can apply by visiting the official website, iftk.ac.in.

• Students are required to fill in all necessary information and paste a recent passport size photo on the application form. They also need to sign and date with ink and attach all the applicable documents along with the form.

• Application forms should be sent to the following address, together with a Demand Draft for Rs.1,200/- (Rs.1500/- if downloaded from the website) written in the favour of “Principal, Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala” payable at Kollam.

• Eligible applicants may additionally send their income and community certifications (if applicable) together with the completed application form to be considered for a reservation in admission. After the deadline, forms will not be accepted. The institution is not responsible for any delays or loss of forms or communication during postal or courier delivery. Candidates are advised to send their application forms only via India Post.

IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 Admit Card

After the completion of the application procedure and payment of the registration fee, students will be able to receive their IFTK Entrance Exam Admit Card from the official website.

• Students must print their admit card for carrying to the test centre, along with a valid photo ID.
• Before the test, students must double-check all pertinent information, such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination center, reporting time, and so on.

IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 Exam Pattern

The Entrance exam comprises of GAT CAT and a Personal Interview. Candidates appearing for the IFTK Exam 2022 must be well acquainted with the exam pattern and relevant details.

• Duration: The duration of each test will be 2 hours.

• GAT (General Aptitude Test)

The GAT consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each with no negative marking. The Topics include:

• CAT (Creative Ability Test)

The purpose of this exam is to assess the candidate’s abilities to observe, innovate, and design. The candidate’s use of colour and illustration is an essential part of the test.

IFTK Entrance Exam 2022 Result

The IFTK result is declared provisionally in online mode. The Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala will announce the result online and students will be able to view their scorecard on the official website, iftk.ac.in The Institute releases a merit list of the students on the basis of the scores obtained by them in the test. Based on that list, students will be invited to the Personal Interview round.

IFTK Entrance Exam Reservation Criteria

The Kerala Government and the University of Kerala have set aside seats for SC/ST/OBC.
10% of the seats (six seats) are also designated for students from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

IFTK Personal Interview

The test will be followed by a personal interview. During an individual personal interview, a panel evaluates an applicant on the following criteria.
