How To Download GATE Admit Card 2021?
Downloading the GATE Admit Card 2021 is a simple process. However, candidates need the GOAPS Enrollment Number or Registered Email ID and the Password generated during the online registration process in order to download the admit card. Step 1: At first, visit the official website of GATE 2021. It is gate.iitb.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) link on the homepage of the website. It is only through the candidate login that you can download the admit card.
Step 3: Now, enter the GOAPS Enrollment Number or Registered Email ID and the Password in the indicated fields (see image below).
Step 4: After entering the login credentials, click submit. Now you successfully log in to the website.
Step 5: Now click on “Download Admit Card”. By doing this you open the pdf of the hall ticket (see image for reference below).

How To Reset Forgotten Password to Download GATE Admit Card 2021?
By now, candidates have become aware that the GATE Admit Card can be downloaded only by logging in to the GOAPS portal using the Enrollment Number/Registered Email ID and Password. Important Instructions For Downloading GATE Admit Card 2021
As per the official information brochure of GATE 2021, IIT Bombay has provided some important guidelines for candidates. These guidelines must be followed strictly.
- It must be noted that candidates cannot get the GATE Admit Card through post or email. The admit card must be downloaded from the official website only.
- After downloading the soft-copy of the GATE 2021 Admit Card, candidates have to print it out on an A4 sized paper.
- The printed copy of the GATE Admit Card must be carried to the examination centre along with a valid photo identity proof.
- ID proofs accepted for Indian candidates are AADHAR Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, College ID, Employee ID and Driving License.
- Candidates must check that the photograph & signature on the GATE 2021 Admit Card are clear and legible.
- Without a valid admit card that has clear & legible photograph & signature of the candidate and a valid photo identity proof (in original), candidates are not allowed to take the test.
GATE 2021 Shift Timings
GATE Admit Card 2021 indicates the complete details of the exam schedule during which, candidates are required to come to the exam centre. The examination is scheduled to be held in two shifts i.e. in the forenoon shift & the afternoon shift. Candidates must note that the reporting time of the exam is indicated on the admit card and all candidates are required to report to the designated centre on or before the indicated reporting time.

GATE 2021 Exam Schedule
IIT Bombay has indicated the complete schedule of GATE 2021 exam for all of the exam days i.e. 06, 07 and 13, 14 February 2021. The examination is being held for two additional subjects this time i.e. Environmental Science & Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences in Economics/English/Linguistics/Philosophy/Psychology/Sociology (XH). Overall, the examination is being held in two shifts on four different exam dates for a total of 27 subjects.

Important Instructions For GATE 2021 Exam Centre
After downloading the GATE 2021 Admit Card, candidates are advised to read and understand all the important exam centre guidelines printed on it. In addition, IIT Bombay also indicated certain code of conduct to follow at the exam centre. Candidates must abide with these strictly and ensure that they do not carry any prohibited items to the exam centre.
- Candidates have to report to the designated exam as per reporting time indicated on the GATE 2021 admit card.
- Carrying the admit card & valid photo identification is a must for all candidates.
- Candidates have to occupy their seats 40 minutes before the start time.
- Instructions related to the exam can be read by logging in at the exam hall 20 minutes before the start of the examination.
- Any late login must be within a maximum of 30 minutes from the actual starting time of the examination. Candidates are not allowed to login after this.
- No candidate is permitted to leave the exam hall before the entire duration of the exam has been covered.

Besides the GATE 2021 admit card, candidates are also required to carry the following items to the exam centre.

Items NOT TO Carry To GATE 2021 Exam Centre
Candidates must ensure that they do not carry any prohibited items to the GATE 2021 exam centre. They are not allowed to enter the exam hall with these items. Candidates found to be in possession of any such items inside the exam hall may be disqualified. Since there may not be provisions to safeguard banned items, candidates are advised in their best interest to refrain from carrying any such items to the exam hall.
