Gujarat PGCET 2021: Gujarat ACPC will conduct PGCET 2021 for ME / M.Tech, M.Pharm admission. This is the state level engineering entrance exam for non-GATE, non-GPAT candidates. The exam date will be in June or July. Application form is released at gujacpc.nic.in, jacpcldce.ac.in. Those who have qualified GATE and GPAT can also apply; however, they do not have appear in the exam. Through Gujarat PGCET, applicants can get admission to Government, Grant-in-aid, and self-financed institutes.

ACPC is yet to announce Gujarat PGCET 2021 details. Until then, an overview is presented here on what to expect, based on last year’s exam. This will help you take the next right step.

Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat PGCET 2021
Candidates who wish to apply for M.E/M.Tech courses through Gujarat PGCET 2021 have to satisfy the eligibility conditions. Hence, the criteria for admissions are as follows-
- For ME / M.Tech: Candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent exam with a minimum mark of 50% (general category), and 45% (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category).
- For M.Pharm: Candidate must have passed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent exam with a minimum mark of 55% (general category), and 50% (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category).
- Candidates whose final semester result or backlog result of the previous semester is awaited can also apply. In such cases, the merit number is allotted if the provisional mark sheet and degree certificate of the qualifying exam is submitted within a scheduled time limit.
- Candidates who have qualified GATE are also eligible.
- Non-GATE and Sponsored candidates have to register the application form to be eligible for the admission process.
Gujarat PGCET 2021 Application Form
Candidates can apply for Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test in online mode at jacpcldce.ac.in as per schedule. Important points to note are as follows.
- Gujarat PGCET application form 2021 will be released in June.
- Official website to apply is jacpcldce.ac.in.
- Candidates can appear in more than one test. However in this case, they have to apply accordingly and appear separately.
- Examination number is same as application number one gets during registration.
- Registration slip is same as Gujarat PGCET 2021 hall ticket so keep it safely and take it to center on exam day.
How to apply for Gujarat PGCET 2021?
You will have to carry out the following steps in order to apply.
Registration: This is the first step of the application process. In this stage, the applicants have to provide the required details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and e-mail id. After the successful registration, the candidate will receive a registration number, user id and password.
Login and Filling of the application form: Candidates have to log in using the details and complete the application process. In this section, the candidates have to enter their personal, academic, qualifying exam, and other details.
Uploading the documents: After entering all the details, applicants have to upload the recent colour passport size photograph. The picture has to be scanned properly in jpg/png/BMP format with 20 Kb file size. Candidates who are applying based on the GATE scores have to upload the GATE scorecard.
Payment and Submission of the application fees: After uploading all the documents and certificates, the applicants have to make the payment of the application fee. The payment has to be paid online using credit/debit/internet banking. Once, the Gujarat PGCET application fee is paid, candidates have to download and take the printout of the application form.
NOTE: Candidates who did not have the internet facility can avail the same at the CyberSpace Centres assigned by the admission committee. Candidates can fill the application form at the centre free of cost. Candidates can check the list of the cyber centres.

The exam pattern of Gujarat ME / M.Tech, M.Pharm Common Entrance Test is as follows:
- Mode of exam: The entrance test takes place once a year in an offline mode.
- Exam duration: Gujarat PGCET is of 90 minutes for ME / M.Tech, and 100 minutes for M.Pharm.
- Language: The question paper is available in the English language.
- Marking scheme: Each question carries 1 mark for the correct answer, and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
- Number of questions: There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions in the exam.
Non-programmable scientific calculator will be allowed during the test.
The ACPC conducts the examination at centres located in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Vadodara. Candidates have to select any one centre at the time of registration. Last year’s list of the exam centre is as follows-

Gujarat PGCET 2021 Admit Card
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses does not release any admit card separately before the examination. Candidates who have submitted the application form can download the registration slip cum hall ticket and use it as the admit card. The examination number is the same as that of the application number allotted at the time of registration. These numbers are printed in the Registration Slip cum hall ticket for PGCET 2021. No applicant is allowed to appear the entrance test without the hall ticket.
Gujarat PGCET 2021 Result
The conducting body announces the result online on its official website. The exam result is declared within a week after the exam. Candidates who have appeared the entrance test can check the Gujarat M.E/M.Tech result by submitting their registration details.
ACPC also publishes the merit list along with the result. The merit list determines the qualification status of the applicants. Based on the ranks secured, candidates are called for the counselling.
Counselling Process of Gujarat PGCET 2021
The ACPC conducts the Gujarat PGCET Counselling soon after the declaration of the result. Candidates whose name is on the merit list can participate in the counselling. In this stage, the applicant has to register and fill in the choices of colleges and courses as per their preferences. The process takes place in two to three rounds followed by a mock round depending on the availability of the seats. Hence, after the completion of the counselling round, the seat allotment list is released.
Reservation of Seats (Category-Wise)
ACPC reserves a certain number of seats for Gujarat origin candidates who belongs to reserved categories. Hence, the distribution of the number of seats is as follows-
