How to check Gujarat PGCET Result 2021?
The step by step process to check Gujarat PGCET result is as follows-
- Visit the official website- gujacpc.nic.in.
- Then click on the provisional list.
- The merit list pdf is then displayed on the screen.
- Candidates must check all the details carefully and download.

Understanding the Gujarat PGCET 2021 Merit Rank
Candidates can avail their merit/rank by logging to the M.Tech admission tab. Candidates have to provide their user id and password at gujacpc.nic.in. The merit rank consists of 7 digit numbers.
The first digit code is defined as follows-
- 1 means Sponsored candidates of Gujarat State
- 2 means Sponsored candidates from outside Gujarat state.
- 3 means Non-sponsored candidates of Gujarat state
- 4 means Non-sponsored candidates of outside Gujarat state
The next two digits indicate the discipline for which the Gujarat PGCET application form has been submitted. Hence, the coding of different disciplines is as follows-

- The last four digits are the rank/merit of the candidate in the particular discipline. In the last four digits (for GATE qualified candidates), the rank is allotted from 0001 to 1000. For the Non-GATE candidates, the rank/merit is allotted from 1001 and onwards.
- In case of Sponsored candidates, the last 4-digits are allotted as per the priority available on the committee’s website.
- Like for example, if the merit number is 3010001, it means that the candidate is GATE qualified and belongs to Non-Sponsored category with course discipline of Civil Engineering. The merit rank is considered as 01.
What if there is any discrepancy in the Gujarat PGCET Merit List?

What to do after the release of Gujarat PGCET 2021 Result?
Soon after the declaration of the result, the conducting body opens the facility for the counselling process. The Gujarat M.Tech counselling comprises the choice filling, seat allotment result etc.
- Firstly, the applicants have to check their rank from the merit list.
- Log in using the user ID and password
- Check the seat availability and choices from the dashboard
- Then the candidates have to select the choices as per their preferences.
- Re-arrange and finally save the choices.
Gujarat PGCET Seat Allotment Process
Then based on the scores and availability of the choices, the ACPC releases the seat allotment list. The admission list is released on the official website. To check the allotment of the seats, candidates have to log in using their user id and password. If a seat is allotted to the candidate, then he/she has to confirm the admission within the due date.
- If the fee is mentioned zero, then the candidate has to press the accept button and confirm the admission.
- If the applicant does not wish to confirm the provisional allotment, then he/she can decline it.
- The candidates who have upgraded from their previous allotment and have no fees to pay in this round have to click the accept or decline button as stated above for confirming his admission.
- Later, the applicant has to pay the token tuition fees as mentioned in the pay seat acceptance link. The fees can be paid online using credit/debit card or net banking. If the fees have already been paid in the earlier rounds, then the same fee is transferred to a new upgraded allotted course/institution.
- After the payment of the admission fees, the applicants can download the Gujarat PGCET admission letter under the activity list.
Reservation of Seats (Category-Wise)
ACPC reserves a certain number of seats for Gujarat origin candidates who belong to reserved categories. Hence, the distribution of the number of seats is as follows-
