GPAT 2022 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the admit card of GPAT 2022. The candidates can download their admit cards by accessing the direct link given below. A notice on admit card has also been released at gpat.nta.nic.in. Some days back, advance intimation of exam city that has been allotted to the applicants was also done. GPAT 2022 will be conducted on April 09, 2022. Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national-level entrance exam that is held once a year. Through this exam, admission into M.Pharma programme is given. It is a computer-based online test. The score of GPAT is accepted by all AICTE / Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) approved / affiliated university departments / constituent / affiliated colleges / institutions. NTA has released an official notification regarding GPAT on Feb 16, 2022. The notification is given below.

GPAT 2022 Important Dates

NTA conducts GPAT exams for admission into M.Pharma course. It is conducted once in a year. A total of 4000 to 5000 students appear for this test every year. Dates of some GPAT events have been published while others have been redacted. Below is a table of official and tentative dates of events of GPAT 2022 based on the data of previous year so that, the applicants can keep a check on exam schedule.

GPAT 2022 Admit Card

The candidates can download GPAT 2022 admit card from gpat.nta.nic.in. To download it, the candidates need to provide their login credentials. The admit card can be downloaded via online mode only. It is not sent via post.

  • Significance of admit card: All the candidates appearing for GPAT 2022 must carry the printed copy of the admit card along with self-declaration as without it, entry will not be given.
  • Keep the admit card safe: The candidates must preserve the admit card of GPAT safely till the end of the admission process.
  • What to carry with the admit card: Along with it, carry a valid id proof, personal transparent water bottle, a passport size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form), PwD certificate (if applicable).

GPAT 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus of GPAT is prescribed by AICTE. Candidates must be aware of the GPAT 2022 syllabus, as this will help them in the preparation.

GPAT 2022 Exam Pattern

Students who are appearing for the GPAT must be aware of the syllabus. Questions are asked based on the pattern, which is as follows-

  • The time duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • It is a computer-based test.
  • Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
  • There is a negative marking of 1 mark for wrong answers.
  • The medium of the question paper is in English only.

GPAT 2022 Answer Key

The NTA will display GPAT 2022 answer key after conducting the exam. The provisional answer key of the questions will be announced on the NTA website: gpat.nta.nic.in, with a Public Notice, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 1000/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days.

The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then a GPAT final answer key will be displayed and declared.

GPAT 2022 Result

The GPAT 2022 result is compiled based on the final answer keys. The results will be available in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can download the GPAT Scorecard 2021 from the official website. The scorecard is valid for three years. 

The steps to check the result is as follows-

  • Visit the official website of GPAT- gpat.nta.nic.in
  • In the login credentials enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin and submit.
  • Submit the details.
  • Download the GPAT Scorecard.

There is no provision to re-evaluate or recheck the results.

GPAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for GPAT 2022 admissions are advised to check the eligibility criteria. The criteria include age, nationality, and education qualification details. Any candidate who does not match the mentioned criteria, his/her candidature will be duly cancelled by the exam conducting authority. Candidates can refer to the eligibility criteria given below :

  • Who can apply– Indian Nationals can apply.
  • Age Limit– There is no age limit for applying in GPAT 2022.
  • Minimum Qualification– The applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university. Students pursuing B.Pharma Final Year are also eligible.
  • Not eligible– B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) applicants are not eligible for admission. 

GPAT 2022 Application Form

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill the form. The registration fees for General Males is Rs 2000/-, for Gen-EWS/ SC/ST/PwD /OBC-(NCL) Male- Rs1000/-, Females (All categories) is Rs 1000/- , for Transgender (All Categories) is Rs 1000/-. The mode of the application form is online.

The following instructions is to be followed while submitting GPAT 2022 Application form.

  • Candidates can submit the application form only once. Multiple forms can cause rejection in the candidature.  
  • The final submission of the application form will remain incomplete if the payment of the fee is not done.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • The complete application form can be filled in online mode only.
  • Candidates must keep visiting the NTA GPAT Website for the latest updates.

Steps to fill the application form GPAT 2022

Step 1: visit the official website on GPAT- gpat.nta.nic.in

Step 2: click on the registration link. 

Step 3: Apply for Online Registration using own Email Id and Mobile No.

Step 4: click on the registration link. 

Step5: Select “New Candidate Registration” and fill in the basic details.

Step 6: After the registration process is complete, login for your account using the credentials sent to your mail. The GPAT 2022 Login will be generated after a successful registration.

Step 7: Enter the necessary details and upload the photograph and signature as per the specifications. 

Step 8: Make the payment of the GPAT Exam Fees and submit the form.

Step 9: Take the printout of the form for future purposes.

Note- All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate timings. The submission of Application of a candidate could be considered as successful and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction/receipt of the prescribed application fee from him/her. The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.
