GITAM GAT 2021: Final Phase Exam Date is 22 Sep; Registration till 20 Sep, Test Instructions

GITAM GAT 2021 – GITAM deemed to be a university is conducting GITAM Admission Test (GAT) 2021 exam for the final phase on September 22, 2021. The last date to do registration for the final Phase is September 20, 2021. Next, GITAM GAT 2021 result for the final phase will declare on September 23, 2021, and counseling will be conducted from September 24 and 25, 2021. Earlier, Phase 6 was held on September 01, 2021.

GITAM GAT 2021 Online Exam Instructions

GITAM GAT is a test from home so candidates have to follow the instructions given below on the day of the exam.

  • The candidates can login at any time from 9.00 AM – 4.00 PM as per the exam schedule
  • The candidates can give the exam through their laptop / mobile phone

Check GITAM GAT Mobile Manual and Computer Module for the online exam.

If using laptop

– Make sure the latest version of Google Chrome is there.
– The internet connection must be with 1MBPS speed
– The webcam and microphone must be working
– To start the assessment, enter the application number, password and passkey
– Accept the button to access the webcam / microphone and then click on the start now button to give the test
– Sit in front the webcam so that photo capture can be done and then, click on the Start Test button.
– Disable Antivirus, screen savers. Ads, Notifications on your laptop

If Using Mobile Phone

– First of all, download ”COCUBES ASSESSMENT” app from the google playstore
– Make sure the google chrome is updated and front / back camera is working properly
– The mobile phone app does not function on iphone
– Keep the phone on ‘Do not disturb’ mode
– Disable true caller, whatsapp, facebook, instagram & other notifications during the exam

GITAM GAT 2021 Application Form

The candidate can fill the GITAM GAT 2021 application form viz Online mode only. Candidates who have scored well on the JEE Main 2021, TS EAMCET 2021 or AP EAMCET 2021 exams are eligible to apply for admission. If you have not appeared for any of these exams, you need to apply for the GITAM Admission Test (GAT).

To apply online, the candidates have to follow the steps given below.

  • First, go to the direct link of GITAM GAT 2021 application Form which is apply.gitam.edu.
  • Register by filling in name, email address, residential status, phone number, state, city.
  • Then you will get confirmation email, using which, verify your email id.
  • Then login with the login details you get in the email.
  • Reset your password.
  • After that select current education status, courses you wish to apply for.
  • Then pay the application fee.
  • And submit the fee.

Application Fee: The application fee is Rs 800.

GITAM GAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates can check the GITAM GAT Eligibility for all the UG/PG courses offered by the university in the space below:

UG Courses

  • The candidate must have completed class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized central or state board or its equivalent either in 2021 or 2020.
  • For B.Tech Programmes: The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of 60% or 6 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE) marks in Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics. And qualifying rank in GAT 2021.
  • B.Tech Biotechnology: The candidate must have obtained an aggregate of 60% or 6 CGPA (55% in case of CBSE and ICSE) marks in Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics/Biology and qualifying rank in GAT 2021.

PG Courses

  • Candidate must have 50% in qualifying exam, and the following degree as per specialization and qualifying rank in GAT 2021.

Some Preparation Tips for GITAM GAT 2021

  • Before starting the preparation, the candidates must check the syllabus for GAT. By doing this, the candidates will get to know the key chapters and topics from which questions are framed.
  • Pick the best study material for the exam. You can also refer your previous qualifying examination books as well.
  • Make a time table and mention all the syllabus that have to be covered till the time of the examination.
  • Get hold of previous year question papers / sample papers and practice them. Gradually, increase the frequency of solving the papers as the exam is near.
  • Set a schedule for the revision part as well. Keep on revising the topics that you will study on a regular basis.

GITAM GAT 2021 Result

The result for the online GAT 2021 releases at gitam.edu. To check the result, the candidates have to enter their application number and mobile number. Details like scores of the candidates, ranks secured by them are intimidated via GITAM GAT 2021 result. The merit list is also published.

The merit position is decided as per the rank obtained by the candidates in GAT 2021 and reservation rule as applicable to GITAM (decided by UGC norms). The candidates whose names appear in the merit list are then, required to appear for counselling.

In case of tie, the following tie-breaking criteria is followed.

  • First of all, the marks in Mathematics / Biology are considered
  • Then, the marks in Physics are taken into account
  • Next, the marks in Chemistry are considered
  • Last of all, the age of the candidates are taken into consideration

GITAM GAT 2021 Counselling

The candidates who qualify GAT are required to take part in the counselling. The counselling card is also issued online. Check the process of GITAM GAT counselling given below.

  • Firstly, the candidates have to download their counselling card by entering the login credentials.
