GATE Exam Time Table 2022 – IIT Kharagpur has started GATE 2022 exam. The exam will be held on 5, 6, 12, and 13 Feb 2022. In all the four days, exam will be held in 2 shifts. The shift 1 is from 9 am to 12 pm. Whereas, the time for shift 2 is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. What Were the Miscellaneous Activities on 4th Feb 2022?
On February 4, 2022, the exam conducting body will conduct some Miscellaneous Activities for the candidates. These activities shall consist of Scribes selection (if any), preparation of exam center including Sanitisation & other activities (display posters, signboard, seating arrangements, etc.). Moreover, if any candidate wants to visit the examination center to see the arrangements, they are also allowed to do so.

Important Instructions for GATE 2022 Exam Day
For the day of the entrance exam, candidates can take a look at the important instructions given below –
- Candidates are allowed to occupy their allotted seats 40 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.
- Examinees can login and start reading the instructions for the exam within 20 minutes before the start.
- Late login time, if due to reasons, recorded by the computer system should not be beyond by 30 minutes from the actual start time of the exam.
- It is to be noted that under no circumstances, candidates are not allowed to login after 30 minutes from the start of the actual time of the examination.
- Candidates are also not allowed to leave the exam hall before the end of the exam.

About GATE 2022 Exam
GATE exam is held for the examinations to Postgraduate programs in Engineering or Science with scholarship and Assistantship from the Ministry of Education. This year, the National Coordination Board has decided to include two new papers- Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. Moreover, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has been given the responsibility to conduct the GATE 2022 entrance exam.
