GATE 2022 EE Analysis – IIT Kharagpur has conducted GATE Electrical Engineering (EE) 2022 exam today, on February 5, 2022. The exam was held in shift 2 which was from 14:30 – 17:30 afternoon. Apart from this, GATE 2022 MA exam was also conducted in the same shift today. Both exams were conducted as per COVID guidelines. The analysis for GATE EE 2022 exam is as follows:
- The overall level for the paper was not very difficult, overall the examination ranged from easy to moderate.
- There were 43 MCQs and 22 NAT.
- Most of the questions were of moderate difficulty. However, few of the questions were very time taking.
- The MSQs being lesser in number was a plus point for students.
- General Aptitude sections ranged from moderate from difficult.
- The topic of EMTL had particularly tough questions.
- The cut off for this year is expected to be on the higher side, as overall the paper was moderately well scoring.

GATE 2022 EE Analysis for Last Year
The GATE 2021 EE was conducted in the month of February 2021. The exam was conducted by the IIT Mumbai during the pandemic crisis. The timing of GATE 2021 EE exam was 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. According to the candidates the exam was tough and lengthy. Experts also agreed with candidates that the exam’s difficulty level was between moderate and difficult.
