GATE CSE Analysis 2021 – GATE CS 2021 paper analysis is now available for sessions 1 and 2 here. Difficulty level: The overall level of the GATE 2021 CS paper was difficult.

GATE CSE Analysis 2021 – Forenoon Session

Difficulty level: The paper was moderate. 50% direct concept based numerical were asked and 15% conceptual questions were there. There were 20% theoretical based questions.
Expected cutoff: 28-29 marks
- Number of MSQs: There were 12 – 15 MSQs.
- Number of NATs: There were 14 to 16 NATs.
Topics asked: TOC, Computer Network, TCPIP, IP Fragment, Computer Organisation, Memory Instruction Format, Data Structure, Recursion, Digital Logic, Discrete Mathematics.

12:30 pm: The GATE 2021 forenoon session is now over. Analysis and answer key will be available soon – check GATE 2021 CS answer key here.
12:15 pm: The forenoon session of GATE 2021 paper today will end at 12:30 pm.

11:45 am: The CS paper cutoff was same in the years 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The cutoff changed in 2019 and 2020. Check GATE past year cutoff – click here.
11:25 am: Once the exam is over coaching centers like The GATE Academy, GATE Forum, Made Easy, etc., will be issuing the GATE 2021 CSE answer key, analysis, and solutions.
11:15 am: On day 2 of the GATE 2021 exam, that is on February 7, 2021, a total of 79.63 percent of candidates attempted the paper in the morning session. On the other hand, 76.94 percent attendance recorded in the afternoon session.
11:00 am: There is negative marking in GATE 2021. The marking scheme is as follows:

10:45 am: Last year the official answer key of GATE 2021 was released 9 days after the exam was over. If that trend is followed this year too, then GATE 2021 official answer key can be declared by February 23, 2021. The response sheets and question papers will be also released officially. The response sheet will be available under the login of the candidates at GOAPS, but the answer key and question papers will be available as pdfs at gate.iitb.ac.in.
10:25 am – GATE 2021 result will be declared on March 22, 2021.
10:15 am – GATE 2021 scores are used by the Public sector undertakings in India for recruitment. Also, the GATE 2021 scores will remain valid for 3 years that is in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
10:00 am – GATE 2021 paper analysis for CS shall be available soon after the exam is over. The analysis will be based on the initial student reactions and expert opinions.
9:40 am – GATE 2021 session 1 starts. The forenoon session will end at 12:30 pm and the afternoon session will start at 3:00 pm.

GATE 2021
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level engineering entrance exam held annually by IIISc, Bangalore, and IIT. Based on the exam, admission is granted in M.E / M.Tech / M.Arch / Ph.D courses. The score of GATE is also used for PSU recruitment. GATE is only held online for 27 subjects.
