  • The GATE 2022 result will be released in the 3rd week of March 2022.

How to Check GATE 2022 Result?

To check the GATE 2022 result candidates should follow the steps given below:

Step-1: Visit the official GOAPS website or click on the link given above on this page. The GOAPS login window will open on your screen as shown below.

Step-2: Enter the enrollment ID/ email ID and password and click on the blue “Submit” button. The page containing the GATE 2022 result link will open on the screen.

Step-3: Now click on the “Check GATE 2022 Result” link. The result will appear on your screen. Here you can check your result.

The result is not a downloadable particular, you can only check the result on the screen. However, you may take the screenshot for the same.

GATE 2022 Cutoff (Qualifying Marks)

The conducting authority releases the GATE cut off marks (qualifying marks) for all papers (subjects) with the release of the result. The GATE cutoff marks are the minimum marks that are placed admission in the particular programme.

To avail the admission to the desirous programme, candidates will have to obtain the minimum eligible marks in the exam, which is called the cutoff marks.

The cutoff is affected by the number of candidates who appeared in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, total number of seats available and category of the candidates.

How to Download GATE 2022 Score Card?

The downloading procedure of the GATE scorecard is the same as to check the result. The only difference is that once you enter the dashboard, you get a separate link to download scorecard. Also, only qualified candidates get this link.

Step-1: Candidates should open the same GOAPS login page as given in the result section and have to enter the same login credentials in the login window.

Step-2: By clicking on the “Download GATE 2022 Scorecard” candidates will be able to see the scorecard on the screen. The GATE scorecard is a downloadable particular.

Step-3: Candidates should download the GATE 2022 scorecard on their computer and get the printout for the same for further use.

The GATE scorecard is valid for the subsequent 3 years from the date of issue.

GATE Score – Calculation of Score, and Normalization Process

In GATE 2022 examination, CE, CS, EC, EE and ME papers may be conducted in multiple sessions. For these papers, a separate normalization procedure runs to calculate the normalised score. The calculation is done based on the variations in the difficulty level in the multiple sessions of the exam. Based on that normalized score, the GATE score will be calculated.
